Soo-Jung

I was in my room playing a video game. Finally reaching the boss level. All I had to do was dodge the lasers, grab the key and get past the guards. Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door.

It was my mom. "Soo-jung, honey. Kai is downstairs. He wants to know if you're coming to his football try-outs but I think you're busy".

As usual my mom reminds me about everything and anything. So I threw the controller on the bed and changed clothes. "Mom, tell him I'll come just let me change first!", I told her.

After changing, I ran downstairs to see Kai watchig TV. "Yo Kai! We going or what?", I asked while slighty punching his arm. He looked at me then said, "About time bro. Sehun, Chan and your dad are waiting for us".

We got in his car as I waved goodbye to eomma. Dad must have sent Kai to get me. I'm guessing he's either too stressed to teach the boys or he needs help on deciding who to get for the team. Well, I have no choice that's my dad.

"K! Have you reached the boss level yet?" Kai asked.

"Well I would've if you didn't call me! Seriously, I had 2 lives left...I could've-"

"Made it. I know. Still I can't you believe bested my top score".

"Yeah yeah. Just remember, you owe me a soda and I get to pick the next movie for Movie Night. Cool?"

He just rolled his eyes and nodded. Upon reaching the school field, I got out of the car and grabbed my bag. When we got in, I saw my dad talking to Sehun.

"...that's why you have to pass it to Baek. A touchdown is 6 points, son. You gotta run faster to reach the end goal. Got it?", my dad asked Sehun. He just nodded then looked at me.

"Arraseo Coach Jung. Hey Krystal!", Sehun said. I waved at him then Kai came. "Sup maknae?", Kai said with his fist out. Sehun fist bumped him and told him to change. "Gotcha bro. K, brb", Kai told me.

The boys left me with my dad. He looked stressed and tired. "Soo-jung". He called. "Ne appa?"

"I need you to watch the boy's practice for me and...show them the ropes".

I glared at him. "Yah! That's too much work!".

"Since when have you been this lazy? I knew Kai was a bad influence on you. When he gets back I'm telling him-"

"Dad relax. He's my best friend. And if it weren't for you, he wouldn't be. Shall I tell thy story once more?", I said with a weird accent.

"You got a point there. Just teach them, will you? Sehun needs to gain speed, Suho forgets the right way to pass and Tao has to catch better. Fix it, arasseo?"

Sigh. "Ne. But you owe me food for this appa".

Practice, to be honest, could have been worse. Unfortunately, Luhan sprained his ankle a bit so we lose a strong player. Atleast Sehun and Xiumin is getting better. That's something I can be happy about. We just need more practice. But how come it takes the boys a longer time to get the hang of it than me?

At the moment, the boys are in the shower. Its only been 5 hours and they are sweating like crazy. Dad left early because he said he couldn't handle the boys so he left things with me. Its kinda late and I'm already sleepy. I'm just resting my head on the bleachers while I wait for them.

12 guys in the locker room. One word. Chaotic. Its pure chaos in here. The maknaes are still bathing, Kris and Luhan are too obsessed with the fixing their looks, Chen, Baek and Dyo can't stop laughing too hard, Suho and Chan still dressing up, and Lay, Xiumin and I are just waiting for them to finish.

"Hyung, remember the time...you accidently tripped on a rock then face planted on the grass!". Chen asked Kris out of the blue.

Kris gave Chen and serious look which meant to knock it off, then Chen changed the topic.

"Hey, Kai! How are things with Krystal?", Chen asked. Why so curious?

"Fine. Why?", I said.

Lay got curious with our conversation and joined in. "Just fine? Ain't she more thab a best friend to you?".

I raised a brow. "Oooh! C'mon Kai. Spill it", Chan stated.

Why are they so anxious to know? We're just best friends anyway. All eyes were on me. Okay, so maybe I have feelings for K. But I ain't the type of guy to show their feelings much. That's why I treat her like one of the guys.

"Guys, to tell you the truth...she's my best friend. I know she's pretty and all but I don't think I can take things higher than that", I said straight forward. Sehun snickered. "Bro, I totally support you. So you wouldn't mind if...".

"If what?", I say raising a brow.

He grinned, "...if we dated her". He said 'we' referring to the whole team.

Hmm...I'm not sure. I am good at hidings my feelings but I can't bear competition with the guys.

I eyed them then said, "Deal".

Kystal still laid there on the bench. Finally, all 12 of the guys came out. Kai came out first because he wanted to wake Krystal up. He gently tapped her shoulder and said, "K? C'mon, we're headed home now. Ppali".

Krystal's eyes fluttered open. She yawned a bit then stood up straight. "What took you guys so long? I've been waiting for who know how long", she said with a pout.

Chan spoke from the back, "Sorry Krystal. We were just talking about stuff". Then Kris added, "Yeah. Personal stuff". Kris then nudged Kai in remembrance of their group conversation.

"Whatever. Can we go home now?", Krystal asked Kai. He nodded then helped Krystal with her bag since he knew she was tired.

The boys went their seperate ways. But it wasn't a problem since they would see each other in school the next day. The car ride was mostly silent. Kai was focused on driving while Krystal was trying to stay awake.

Soo-jung

"Hey!", I said breaking the silence. Kai replied "What?" without facing me. "Are you gonna drive me to school or am I gonna ride with appa?", I asked.

He smiled and said, "I'll take you. Besides, you might get into trouble again and I need to get you away from that". I crossed my arms in annoyance. "Like you don't get in bigger trouble than I do!".

"Hahaha! True but atleast I save you from it. Unlike you", he said while laughing. I rolled my eyes, "Okay I get it. Just don't be late. You still owe me a soda, oppa".

"Got it, K". I heard him say. When we got home, I greeted my parents and I bid Kai goodbye. I then slept because I still have school tomorrow.

Alot happened on this Sunday. But so far, none out of the ordinary. Guess I have to find out tomorrow.
