This guy really knows how to make my blood boil. I have kept my composure when dealing with arrogant competitor school's during our games, but at times I think this guy has a death-wish.

"And who said you could join us?" I told Tae-jerk who was sitting a little close to K. And yes, I will call this guy Tae-jerk.

He gave me an innocent smile, as if it was nothing and said, "I did. You don't mind if I'm here do you...?"

"Krystal?" He turned to face the girl as he asked. He seemed to know that my best friend wouldn't care about this and she'll allow him to do what he pleases.

Krystal looked at him. "No its cool, I guess"

See? What'd I tell you? My best friend is too nice for her own good. I'll just keep an eye on this guy for the mean time.

Eating our food was kind of awkward. K and I should be talking about all sorts of stuff by now, but instead me and Tae-jerk are having a staring contest.

"So when do we start our project?" K broke the silence and asked me without looking up from her meal.

"We could start this weekend. Practice might take up too much of our time"

"Okay. But maybe Dad would be fine with missing practice, I mean his team is gonna be busy right?"

"I'll help you talk to him. But I'm sure he'll understand" I said before drinking my water.

Tae-jerk on the other hand couldn't help but join in on our conversation. Ugh.

He turned to Krystal and asked, "Practice? For what?"

And K, didn't hesitate to reply. "Oh Kai and his friends are part of the school's football team"

"Okay? But what's this got to do with your---"

"Her dad happens to be our coach" I interrupted because I couldn't stand his presence. Yes I was rude.

We all finished our food and I stood up to take our trays to the rack. Before I could get K's tray, Tae-jerk beat me to it. However, it gave me an idea.

As he placed the trays back, I dragged K out of the cafeteria. She didn't resist at all and just let me pull her. We ended up back to the hallways where the lockers were.

"Do you mind explaining why you practically yanked my arm out to get here?" K asked looking a little irritated but I could see right through her.

My excuse was "I just didn't like being in there for a long time, I felt stuffy" which earned me a confused look on her face.

"That's a first" She said walking at the same pace beside me. "So maybe we could talk to dad after class and ask the whole team to join"

"Yeah okay. I'll text them. By the way, your next class is History right?" I asked eventhough I knew already.

"Uhh yeah. We don't have that class together though" She said matter-of-factly.

I then offered to walk her there which of course she didn't mind. We headed there after she took her books from her locker.

What I kind of hated about this time was the fact that this was the only period where me and K don't have the same class. I'd hate it more if Tae-jerk was her classmate.

After dropping her of at Room 365, I went to my classroom where I saw Chanyeol and Sehun goofing around again.

"Hey Kim Kai what's up?" The tall boy said as he saw me.

"Not much. Oh, you got the text I sent right?" I asked them both.

Sehun and playfully read the text as if mimicking how I talk. Chanyeol laughed at this and we proceeded to talking about guy stuff. I'm no girl to start sharing my thoughts and feelings right now.

I let out a light chuckle when I saw that the two had ditched me. Kai you are too predictable. Yes, I kind of figured out he would do something like that. I'm not that naive to know how much that guy hates me.

I decided to just forget about it and head to my next class. I saw the two walking further from the lockers probably heading to class. I checked my schedule and saw that I had History next at Room 365.

Getting closer to my room, I noticed that Kai went out and headed the other way. So the beauty is alone at this time. Interesting.

I went inside when Kai was out of sight. The students were busy messing with their things while some (mostly girls) noticed me arriving and somewhat begged me to sit next to them.

Of course I politely declined and sat next to the girl staring at the window. "I see you like looking out outside as well" I said slightly surprising the girl.

"You scared me a bit. But yeah, its really calming" She told me. "Plus when I get bored I do this to pass the time"

She gave me a small smile and then resumed to staring at the window. I was about to talk to her again when our teacher came in.

"Alright class. Settle down" She said and everyone sat up straight. "Good. Now where did we stop last time?"

Finally last bell and I once again survived another school day. Everybody got out of their seats almost immediately leaving me, Kai, Suho, Chen and Kris in the room. Unlike the others, we had to stay at school because of our meeting with my dad aka their coach.

"Hyung can you ask the others where they are?" Chen asked Suho as he fixed the contents of his bag.

"I think they went to the gym first. Let's just meet them there" Kris told before fixing his hair.

Suho then started walking towards the door but not without shouting his famous voice-cracking 'Kaja!' as he did. Kris and Chen automatically followed.

I was still in my seat, not bothering to grab my bag on the floor. I stayed put as the boys talked because my mind was full of different thoughts.

I heard a faint sigh from behind me. My eyes that were blankly staring at the front of the room suddenly focused on the guy bending forward to get my bag.

I instantly recognized the culprit. He stood in front of my desk and stared me down. "Aren't you getting up?" He asked.

All I did was shrug my shoulders then lowered my head. Another sigh was heard followed by an extended hand and Kai's voice saying, "C'mon. We don't want  to keep the others waiting"

I took his hand and proceeded to walking out with Kai not so far behind. I stopped abruptly and turned around. "I can carry that" I told him referring to my bag on one of his shoulders.

"Oh now you start talking" He slightly shook his head. "I got this, just lead the way"

The trip to the gym didn't take too long. Atleast it felt like it didn't. Kai knows me as a chatterbox whenever we hangout and I'm sure he's curious to why I've been so quiet.

As we got to the gym, the rest of the boys were there and they immediately looked our way as got nearer. I didn't waste anymore time and just said, "I'll go in first okay?"

I went inside without hearing their responses.
