Mrs. Lola Green, these three words were something Lola had probably scribbled a thousand times on her diary. She had been dreaming of the day when her crush, her true love would turn around and kiss her. If not that then something else, she wouldn't have minded if he simply just smiled at her or talked about her to his friends. But no Daniel Green paid no attention to her, in fact, he was dating the beautiful Carrie Willimas. Carrie was beautiful, confident, and intelligent. Lola hated and loved her at the same time. While she couldn't stand her being near Danny and felt like ripping her tongue out when she did, she couldn't help but like her as she is the only girl that has ever stood up to the Elizabeth Crawford, until today.....
"This is my seat," Lizbeth argued but Lola knew it was useless . In the short amount of time that Lola had known her, she came to understand that Melody Green was as stubborn as a mule. "This is a free country, and I sat here first . So why don't you take your puppets and jog your way to the table next to the trashcans, it suits your complexion. very well." Melody smirked and the whole classroom starred at her in shock, including Lola.
In all honesty, Melody scared Lola, the fact that the girl showed almost no emotion other than her smugness should have been her first warning. The next was how mean and cold she was still despite all that she remained everyone's favourite girl. In the three days that she had been here she was becoming West Bev's 'It Girl'. Even the Jonson twins wanted to be with her and they hated everybody and everything.Worse thing was that Lola couldn't tell whether she enjoyed all the attention, she had the best poker face Lola had ever seen. But Lola couldn't help but be envious of her. In three days time, she managed to get higher on the social ladder than Lola had in three years.
Lola couldn't understand what made her so unapproachable . She may not have been as beautiful a melody but she still was pretty. Was as it because of her clothes?, her naiveness?, her bubbly sweet personality? Even her own mother had joked about how she thought Lola was born out of sugar, spice and everything nice. She was missing the spice, though.
"You're cousins a real piece of work then again as I here so is your sister. I'm guessing you're the black sheep of the family. Melody said right before diving into her 'Game Of thrones' book. Lola didn't like that book it had too much nudity, gore and violence, it was depressing. She preferred something happy like the 'Diary of a Wimpy kid' books and the first few books of the 'Harry Potter ' series.
Melody was right about one thing, though, Lola was nothing like her sister nor her cousin. Her sister was named Lily Rose Connor, the reason for this was her red hair. She was the self obsessed type that insulted others to make herself look better. Even melody wasnt like that in Lola's opinion she was the type that just new how brilliant she was and couldnt care what others thought. I guess she admired that bit of her. Lilly Ros had gotten the nickname 'pine corn' from some nasty dirty rumour one of the Jonson twins had spread. Lily had never met Melody and Lola hoped that for her sake they would ever meet.

Lola was late to her biology class which she had never missed since it was the only class she had with Danny. She rushed her way through the hallway and just like that she came in contact with another hallway speeder who unfortunately for her was holding a hot cup of coco that was currently soaking her navy blue sweater. "Oh sorry, I didn't see you there." Of course, no one ever did, which was surprising because out of everyone in this school she wore the most colourful clothes.
Lola took her sweater off and shoved it in her locker, Luckily for her, the stain hadn't spread to her white blouse. it didn't show much of her 'lady parts' but she still was weary. She then grabbed her books and made her way to the biology lab.
Now usually she'd be in heaven as her seat was right next to Danny's, not that he ever noticed her. The teacher was out sick and the class was in chaos. But this wasn't your usual 'people throwing people out windows' trouble. No, this was caused by Daniel Green and his perfect cheerleader girlfriend who were arguing like there was no tomorow. Lola felt a sadistic joy in watching them claw each other out, she'd been spending too much time with melody.
Lola didn't bother listening to their conversation, she was too mesmerised by Danny's eyes as they shone with such force. What a beautiful shade of blue, her own eyes had the same colour only brighter. Lola being her naive self couldn't help but imagine her and her true love kissing underneath the moonlight. She was quickly shaken out of her daydreaming when Carrie slapped Danny's cheek, it flared in a colour of red. 'How dare she', Lola thought of many ways of murdering Carrie. But she still couldn't help but feel happy, they were finally through. Two years of torture and Danny was finally available.
Danny and Carrie stormed out of the classroom, and soon after entered the substitute teacher. Mrs Walsh was a kindergartener teacher, so whenever she entered she'd ask of Lola to right done her thoughts on what today was like.
She could only think of six words to describe the day: Sugar and spice and everything nice. It was a bittersweet day and she was loving it.
