Just as the sun disappears we wake up, pack up our tents, and walk.

Then day comes around and we sleep before waking up and walking some more. We do this for the next day. And the next day.

We walk for forever, sleeping during the day and walking in the night. I didn't know why we're sleeping during the day, but I had come to the conclusion that we were trying to avoid being spotted. Not that we could be. We've been walking forever and haven't seen a soul.

Ugh.

I trudge forward, dragging my feet, which feel like they're bleeding, my thought in some disturbing places.

It's scary what my brain does when left alone for a while.

"So......" I trail off, desperate for conversation but not sure what to talk about. I just need something to stop my brain!

I shudder.....so very, very scary.....

"So....." Kin says after me, sounding relieved that I try to start conversation.

I need someone to speak, the silence is killing me!

I just hope it isn't-

"So! Did you guys taste the pie at the winning ceremony? It was so good! I tried all of them! Blueberry, raspberry, cherry, chocolate, they even had pumpkin pie! My favorite was the chocolate though, it was warm and gooey! I love that! But I hate cats.....maybe it's their evil eyes....or their claws....or teeth....maybe it's because their usual associated with evil guys.....whatever." Nero drones on, "So my favorite food has got to be......."

I stop listening as he randomly jumps from topic to topic and instead turn to Ignis, rolling my eyes, to communicate to her with my eyes about how annoying Nero is, but instead find her watching Nero with a strange look in her eyes.

I raise my eyebrow at her curiously, but when she sees me watching she blushes and looks away, her eyes facing the other way, pretending to be fascinated with some tree.

I cock my head, frowning. Why is she blushing? And looking at Nero weird?

That could only mean.....

No. No way. I'm just jumping to conclusions.

She hates him! She is always the first to snap at him and she teases him a lot and-

Wait.

No. Freaking. Way.

My eyes widen.

"Oh my gosh! I love walking in the rain too!" Vieni gasps as Nero loudly declares his love for walking in the rain. The two high-five before collapsing into giggles for no reason.

I roll my eyes before looking over at Ignis again, eager, to see her glaring at the water girl, a scowl on her face, and I know for sure now.

An evil smile breaks out on my face as I realize this could be used as potential blackmail.

Ignis notices my look and her eyes widen, her previously clenched fists loosening.

I cackle evilly, earning strange glances from my other teammates, but I don't care. I like this feeling.

What is it? Evilness? Badness? Mischievousness?

Are those even words?

Whatever it is, it feels good.

I smirk at Ignis, who is slowly shaking her head at me, her orange eyes sprinkled with fear.

She should be scared.
