We was in 4th period. Thank God it was almost time to go home, cause I was starting to fall asleep. My heart jumped with joy when I heard the bell ring. I put my book bag on and head for the door. As I stepped into the hall I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw Ray standing there. I raised my eyesbrows at her.
"Aye I wanted ask if you was free today?" That shocked the hell out of me. Im sure she could tell cause I know I had that 'wtf' look on my face.
"Um yeah, I'm free. Why wassup?"
"You wanna come with me to Dairy Queen?"
"Um, yeah sure"
"Alright. Just meet me there at 4:00. Ima go home and change"
"Okay. Whats your number? Just in case I need directions or something." I said while pulling out my phone..

"Alright I'll see you later" we gave eachother dap, and went our sperate ways. I was not expecting that. Something aint right and I know it. I studied her for a month. There's no way in hell she just would've invited me out, especially since she just met me. I'll guess I'll find out eventually.

After I gave Kj dap I went to my car, got in and started my way home. I know yall probably wondering why I asked her to meet me at Dairy Queen. Its just I can't shake this feeling I got. I feel like I know her, but I couldn't tell you her middle name if you asked. Its crazy. So thats why I asked her to come with me so I can try to put my finger on why I keep getting that vibe from her. By the time I got home it was 3:40. I unlocked my front door and made my way upstairs after closing it. I took my school clothes of and put them in the dirty clothes basket. I slide on my black nike sweatpants, a white t shirt with a black and white Nikes. I kept my accessories on. Before I got ready to go back out I went to the bathroom. I felt like I was gone piss on myself. I been holding my pee since school, I refuse to use they nasty bathroom. When I finished I washed my hands. It was 3:56. I grab my keys and phone making my way out the door. I locked my door back, got in my car and pulled off. I plugged my phone to the aux cord and played my favorite playlist. First song that came on was Hey There by Future and Dej Loaf.
"Ooh this my shiit !" I said as I turned the radio up and nodded my head.
"I still taste you on my lips yea I do. Last night we made love until the sun came..." My singing was interrupted by my phone ringing. I answered it with the aux still plugged in.
"Hello?"
"Hey man I'm here. Where you at?" I automatically knew it was Kj. I started getting that feeling.
"Ima be pulling up in less than 2 minutes."
"Okay" and with that we hung up and my song came back on.
"I know its hard when I leave I'm not with you. When I'm gone hold it down you my love thang." I pulled up to Dairy Queen, cut my car off and grabbed my phone, keys. When I walked in I saw Kj sitting all the way in the back. I walked over and sat in the chair in front of her. She looked at me as if she was scanning me. Its funny cause when I was in the game I would do the same before trading or making a drop. I chuckled at the irony before speaking.
"Want a blizzard?"
"Um, yeah Reese's" I froze when she said that. I Looooove Reese's. Lord only understands how deep me and Reese's relationship is.
"You okay? You look like you seen a ghost" she said I guess she noticed the way I froze.
"Yeah. Its just I love Reese's so much. If I could I would marry them." She laughed.
"Its funny cause I feel the exact same way"
"Daamn right, Team Reese's!" We high fived and I went to get or blizzards. When I came she was texting someone but when she saw me she put her phone away and smiled.
"You could've kept texting whoever that was" I said while putting our blizzards on the tabel.
"Nah, they can wait" she said then out a spoon full of icecream in her. I smiled then did the same.
"Question she said while taking another bite then looking over her shoulder.
"Shoot" i said.
"Why you invited me here?"
"Well to be honest something about you just i don't know attracts me to you. I feel like I know you. But I don't know why, because we nothing alike and I've never met you till today." She chuckled
"How would you know if we're anything alike if you 'don't even know me'? She said then looked over her shoulder again. That kind of reminds me of how In use to be, when I was in the game.... Wait... Thats it ! She's in the game! No wonder I felt a vibe from her.
"Yeah, you right. So you got a job or your parents buy you everything?" She laughed
"Yeah, I got a job"
"Where at?"
"Jeez man. You ask alot of questions. But I cut open boxes and rack the shelves with the merchandize that comes in."
"And by boxes you mean packages and by merchandize you mean drugs, right?" When I said that she look at me as if her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach. It made me laughed at how scared she looked. How frozen she was.
"Relax. I ain't got rat you out or nothing. I use to be in the game to"
"Use to as in not anymore?" She asked
"Yeah, I been out about a month now"
"Why'd you leave? Don't you like the fast money?"
"Yea, the money good but my life wasn't. I got people who I want to make proud and shit I want to do with my life. Im graduating this year, I wanna go to college. I can't do that if im here slanging dope." I must have struck a nerve when I said that, cause she dropped her head.
"I want to do that to. But it aint easy to only way out the game is in a body bag" she said.
'All I did was stoop making drops, now look at me. Im free and Alive."
She chuckled
"Right" she said.
We stayed there until closing time just talking about our lives and selves. And eating blizzards. She had me blushing major hard. I even found myself staring at her lips a few times. I really like her alot. She understands me. Its like im an open book to her. But Ima just stick to being her friend. She don't look like the stud for stud type of girl.
