Ray
I was packing my clothes to spend the night with Kj. I been to her crib before, but this my first time spending the night. I was kind of nervous cause I don't really know what to expect. As I was packing my stuff up I started to think about how much I was feeling her. I mean I've opened up to her so much in this short amount of time, she could be the one.
Tell me where you wanna go, tell me what you wanna do. Baby just be comfortable, I'll be right here next to you
"Hello" I answered my phone as a big smile spread across my face.
"You left the house yet?"
"I'm bout to right now." I said while grabbing my bag and keys.
"Good, hurry up cause I miss yo aggravating ass"
"Haha, no. You not cute"
"You like me though so it don't matter" I sucked my teeth
"Aww somebody mad" she laughed
"Whatever nigga"
"You in yo car yet?"
"Daang why you rushing me" I said while laughing.
"Im finna walk out the door though." I did that then closed and locked my door behind me. As I walked down my drive way towards my car someone turned their headlights on full brightness.
"Who the hell is this in my drive way with these bright ass lights, tryna blind me and shit?" I said and walked up to the car. I aint gone lie, my heart was beating out my chest. Nobody just up and leave the game and im stupid for thinking I could.
"I don't know go see" I forgot Kj was on the phone
"What you think I'm finna do smartness" when I walked up to the car they began to roll down their tinted window. When I seen who was behind the wheel my face tensed up, my heart filled with anger and hatred, even a little fear.
"Stay the fuck away from me! Don't ever bring yo ass back here!" I yelled while backing away towards my car.
"Yo Ray you good??" I hung up, I didn't bother to say anything back. I couldn't. I was stuck, shaking, trying to get away. I got in my car, started it up and drove off as quickly as I could. On my way to Kj house I let the tears that formed in my eyes fall. I was feeling... Numb. I didn't know how to feel right now. I hooked my phone up to the aux cord and let my thoughts take over. What if they come back? Why were they there? After everthing they put me through and out of all this time I been gone they just wanna pop up now, hell to the no! My tears were falling uncontrollably, so I took my time getting to Ray house. I couldn't let her think I was a punk. I pulled over at a gas station. I turned my car off, grabbed my wallet and got out. I went in the store and headed straight for the medicine. I grabbed a bottle of Tylenol, two Dr.Peppers cause I know Kj likes this soda to, went to the register and let the lady ring my stuff up.
"Are you okay?" She asked me
"Yeah, lil mama. Im alright. My sinuses been fucking with me all week" I lied, knowing damn well I barley even get sick but I wasn't finna tell shawty my business.
"Okay well your total is $7.58." I gave her a ten and told her to keep the change.
"Hey wait" she called out before I walked I left. I turned around and lifted my eyebrows.
"You can have my number... Just in case you ever wanna talk" daamn I get girls even when I'm 'sick'.
"I left my phone in the car" I said while feeling my pockets.
"Just give me your number , I'll text you so you can have my number." I gave her my number and told her my name before walking out the store. When I got in my car I immediately popped two pills in my mouth and washed them down with my soda. My light on my phone blinking, I had a message from the store clerk.
404-639-2000: Hey cutie. Btw my name is LaCeanaga, yes like the girl from proud family lol.
Me: I like that. Its different.
I replied. I crunk up my car and made my way to Kj house.
