As usual I woke up first and started my day off with a small bath. When I was finished I brushed my hair leaving it down naturally. There was no training since we still have no squad so Levi and I had to whole day together to do whatever we want. I wanted to see if he wanted to go into town and maybe to the market. I dressed in a (F/N) long flowy spaghetti strap sundress that reached my ankles. I loved this dress because when I twirled the fabric swirled out around me. I wore (white/black) flats to match and tied two small ribbons of the same color into my hair on each side. I then proceeded to wake Levi who reluctantly got up. I helped him wrap his sprained ankle and he got dressed in some fitting blue jeans and a white button up shirt. He wore simple black shoes. "You look lovely (N/N) (nick name)."
"Thank you," I said twirling the dress, "I figured we should go into town to get some brunch and maybe walk around the market."
"Sounds good, it would be nice to get out of here for a while." I smiled and led Levi out to the horse stables. Luckily the regiment members had brought my horse back so Levi and I rode into town calmly on the horses. On the way he talked about what happened that night after I passed out. Eren was retrieved, but caused Levi's injury, and is now under Erwin's custody until we get our new squad. We finally made it to town and dropped our horses off at a stable, it was free since we were in the survey corps. We instantly walked into a small diner for brunch then proceeded to the market, we walked around barely ever buying things and if we did they were usually clothes or food. And they were usually for me. It was early afternoon when we began heading back to the headquarters. It was super-hot outside since it was now summer and a brilliant idea popped into my head.
After we put our horses away I clung onto Levi's arm and gave him a kiss on the nose. He smiled at me and caressed me loose (H/C) locks. "Levi-kun, I just had the best idea." He slightly cocked his head to the side, so cute. "We should go to that oasis you showed me and go swimming, oh and we can have a picnic too."
"Sure, I'll make the picnic basket and you change and get towels." I smiled and ran into the castle. I put on my bathing suit and a see through fabric cover up skirt that tied with a bow on my side. My bathing suit was a simple one that the top piece tied in the center between my breasts and the bottom ties on each side. It was a simple (F/C) color but I loved it. I grabbed a tote bag and put four towels inside. I grabbed my sunhat and flip flops before walking down to the kitchen. Levi had made sandwiches and was putting them inside along with a blanket and plates with silverware, I walked up and hugged him from behind.
"Your turn to get dressed and I'll finish the basket." He kissed my forehead before leaving and I got to work. I made some lemonade and tea placing them in small canisters and putting them inside the basket. I then put some fresh fruit in a container putting that inside before finally putting a small cream cake inside for dessert. We had bought all the food earlier today at the market. I closed the basket as Levi walked in. He wore a black tee-shirt over his black swim trunks that had swirls of deep red on the sides. I smiled and locked our hands as he took the basket and walked back to the horses. We rode at a steady pace to the beautiful oasis and when we finally arrived I was reminded by the memories of it the first time I saw it.
~Small Flashback~
There before us was a beautiful oasis, the trees opened up above us letting in a stream of bright afternoon light. A rushing waterfall fell from a cliff up above that was filled with sakura (cherry blossom) trees, causing the water in the pond below to be filled with sweet smelling pink petals. The meadow around the water fall was littered with tons of flowers of all kinds of colors. There were pinks, blues, teals, greens, yellows, ambers, crimsons, lilacs, maroons, whites, and a variety of others.
~End of Flashback~
It looked exactly like it did before but this time I began to climb the hill to the top of the water fall. Tons of sakura trees littered the top of the hill and the only flowers were white babies breathe that adorned the sweeping green grass. The top of the water fall was a large pond that was connected to a small stream. It was beautiful and taking off my shoes and setting down the bag of towels I dipped my legs into the water. It was warm and the water looked deep enough to reach the top of my chest below my shoulders. I looked back at Levi who set down the picnic basket and removed his tee-shirt revealing his toned chest. He made his way towards the water himself. "The water's warm and the current up here isn't strong at all." He grabbed my hands looking into my eyes. He smirked before jumping into the water and dragging me with him. I was pushed underwater and as I resurfaced I erupted in laughs which Levi joined into. I reached for my hat but found it nowhere around, looking towards the waterfall I saw the straw sunhat slowly drift down with the rushing water into the smaller pool below us.
Looking back at Levi I made my way slowly towards him, "You're going to pay for that!" I yelled playfully splashing water onto him. His hair stuck to his face and when he removed them he splashed me back. This started a full out splash war between us and by the time we were done my (H/L) hair stuck to my skin. I got out followed by Levi and we dried off a little, I tied my hair up with the ribbons after drying it and dried Levi's hair thoroughly. Afterword's he set up the blanket and food. I sat on one corner of the blanket while he sat on the opposite one. We ate making small talk and laughing just enjoying each others presence. I ate my sandwich along with most of the fruit and drank my canister of lemonade. The sun already set and we still had yet to eat the small cake. I was about to grab the dessert when Levi grabbed my hand lacing his fingers with mine before pulling me to stand up with him.
"I want to show you something really quickly."
"Okay, lead the way Levi-kun!" I smiled as he led me away from the picnic and deeper into the forest. When he stopped I looked up to see a small pond that was littered with petals from the two sakura trees that formed a canopy over the small pond. There were roses around the pond and the rising moon cast a magic like glow over the surface of the water and illuminated the soft colors of the sight. It was breathe taking and I ran over to it and bent down to stare at the water. I smile spread across my face and I turned back towards Levi to see him in front of me down one knee. I covered my mouth as tears sprung into my eyes.
"(FULL/N) I'm deeply in love with you. Every day I felt myself fall for you more and more, until one day there was nothing more to love because I already loved every bit of you. Even the clumsy and even the drunk side of you. I was fascinated and adored you from every inch of my heart, and I want to make our love known," he pulled a small velvet box from the pocket of his swim trunks, "Although our days are numbered, and life is a constant struggle. I want you to be the one constant in my life (N/N). I love you dearly and I can't imagine a day without you, so even if I were to die tomorrow I would want to spend my last days knowing our love was whole hearted and mutual. (F/N)... will you marry me?" He opened the box the reveal an engagement ring. The band of the ring was made of two pieces of metal twisted together like a tree branch and a decent sized light blue crystal adorned the center. The crystal was completely surrounded by small white diamonds that glowed in the moonlight. Some stray tears fell down my face as I uncovered my mouth.
They were tear of pure joy. "Levi, yes! Of course I'll marry you I love you so much!" His eyes lit up and almost seemed to sparkle as he stood up and lifted me up in an embrace spinning us around. He placed me down and kissed me passionately placing the ring on my finger. I embraced him again and we walked back to the picnic finishing our cake together whilst smiling and happily discussing plans. I was the he happiest person in the entire world as we slowly rode back towards HQ.
