After arriving back at the castle Levi and I spent our lunch explaining to everyone in our squad where we were and what was going on and such.
"So what were you up to this morning, other than paperwork with Erwin I mean?" I say as we both sat back down at the table to eat our lunch.
"I went to see Mia Lin and terminated our business. I need to talk with both Erwin and Hanji about the information I acquired about breaking Annie out of her crystal."
"So..."
"All you need to know is it's possible."
"All I need to know? Levi, no more secrets, okay?" I ask.
He puts down his sandwich before nodding his head. His eyes wander on my lips before returning to my (E/C) orbs. "Okay. It takes another titan to cut open the crystal. We have to explore our options since brat Eren is basically useless in this matter with no special abilities."
"I'll do it." Levi gives me a quizzical look. "During Hanji's experiments we learned that my special ability is that during attacks my titan skin turns to blades. Pretty cool actually."
"Let's go talk with Erwin...Now." Entangling his fingers with mine we briskly walk towards Erwin's office. Letting go of my hand, Levi does his typical busting into the office resulting in an automatic 'Yes Levi' from Erwin. "I learned from Mia Lin how to get Annie out of her crystal, and thanks to (N/N) it's possible now."
"I'm listening," came his response.
"(F/N) in her titan form will cut Annie from her crystal unharmed, the only thing is we need her above ground."
"I'll have that arranged for tomorrow afternoon. For now we wait."

"Okay, show time!" Hanji yelled. I brought my hand to my mouth and surveyed the area before biting down. Annie's crystal was in front of me and we both were surrounded by the squad members from my, Erwin's, and Hanji's squads. In my titan form I grabbed Annie and willed my finger into a blade. Carefully I began to cut away the crystal till only Annie remained. Setting her down the squads surrounded her body and checked her vitals. Levi signaled me to pull out and as I did I maneuvered down to the ground. Without prolonged time in the form we found that my gear does not evaporate.

Annie, now moved to the infirmary, her eyes began to flutter open. "What, where am I?"
"So your finally up, you're in the scouting legion infirmary. You're here to tell us the information we want to know," Levi said leaning forward in his backwards chair.
"No," came her monotone reply.
Then I spoke up, "I don't think you understand the situation here. You're restrained with no way to turn into a titan or run, so I suggest you answer our questions."
"Why did you attack us?"
"I'm not answering your questions. I may not be able to run, but I can stay silent and refuse."
We tried to get more answers but Annie only stayed silent from then on. Giving up Levi and I headed to our bedroom. Changing into our night clothes we curled up together in the plush bed. "We need a course of action you know. There has to be something we can do without Annie's help." I complain into the crook of Levi's neck.
"What about that Eren brat's basement. He keeps talking about getting there. I have a hunch it may be a clue."
"Aww, Levi's concerned about Eren's needs."
"No I just want him to shut up about it. With a small mission squad we should be able to get there." I nod, my eyes slowly draping closed. Levi wraps his arms around me and we both fall into a deep sleep.
