Harry's POV
I walked into a brightened art classroom. Great, we had Mr. Payne again. I sighed and took a seat at the back of the classroom next to Louis, as usual. We'd just talk about guy things like football, girls, more girls, more football and sometimes we'd fall asleep in class. I sighed and put my feet on the desk.
"Are you still mad about the lunch money?" Louis asked, looking at me from the corner of his eyes.
"No." I grumpily responded, folding my arms across my chest. I looked away, trying not to look at him. I was pissed. Damn that Ariana. She always has to ruin things! Interrupting my thoughts, the door swung open and I expected to see Mr. Payne but instead, a tall girl stood in the doorway.
She had pale skin and blue eyes with a tint of green. Her brown hair came down to her mid back and she had a beautiful smile plastered on her face. She looked... Angelic. I hate to admit it but, she's hot. Snap out of it, Harry! You never fall in love. She, after a while, moved and stood by Mr. Payne's desk and waited for him. He walked in and smiled at the sight of her.
"Hello class. This is Lauryn Horan, Niall Horan's sister, whom you've all met? Anyway. There's only one spare desk left, luckily. Over there, in front of Harry." He said, pointing to the empty desk in front of me. I put my feet down and stared at her.
"Oi, mate. Why are you staring at her?" Louis chuckled, poking me in the ribs. I slapped his hand away and slightly pouted.
"Shut up, dude. I never fall for these whores." I grunted, putting my feet back up on my desk. After ten minutes or so, I fell into a deep slumber.
"Hey, Harry. Wake up!" A familiar voice snapped. I opened my eyes and saw Mr. Payne towering over me like a mouse next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
"What?" I growled through gritted teeth. I fully woke up and stared up at him.
"You've just earned yourself a detention." Mr. Payne said, walking back to his desk.
"Fuck you." I muttered under my breath. Mr. Payne must of heard me because he turned and stared at me for a few minutes. "Nothing. I didn't say anything." I added quickly and got up. I waited until Mr. Payne left for a bathroom break and left the class to look for Lauryn. Whether she was Niall's cousin or sister, it didn't matter. I... Have feelings for her. And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get them to fade away. I sighed and looked down the half empty hallway, only to see Lauryn close her locker and walk away.
A note. I can leave a note in her locker! I quickly ran into the nearest classroom, which was luckily empty, and wrote a little note to Lauryn. I looked at the now empty hallway and quickly ran to her locker. I slipped the note in and looked side to side before leaving for Biology.
All through Biology, I thought about Lauryn. I couldn't get her out of my mind. I needed to talk to her, to run my hand through her smooth hair. I needed to... Touch her. I needed to... Get these fucking thoughts out of my head! The bell rang and I got up and left without hesitation. Where was Louis when you needed him? Sheesh. It's like cat and mouse. I looked around impatiently. I needed to hit something. I was angry. No, pissed off. I'm supposed to be the popular, strong guy, but now I'm turning into a fucking bunny. This Lauryn girl has got to go, even though I hate to admit it. But how was I going to get rid of her?
I needed Louis. And there he was, taking a kid named Austin's homework and money. I swear, that kid has to be loaded. I'm surprised he has a girlfriend with his nerdy look. Thick rimmed glasses with bunny teeth. They have to be fake, I mean seriously. I walked over to them and pushed Austin, who fell into some lockers. He picked his stuff up and quickly walked away, not looking back. Lou started to count the money he had stolen and then looked up at me.
"Where the fuck have you been? I've been looking for you." I frowned angrily. Lou shrugged his shoulders and smirked. He knows exactly what buttons to push to piss me off.
"So, what do you need or want?" Louis replied, leaning sideways against one of the lockers Austin had fallen into.
"I need you to help me get rid of that Lauryn Horan girl." I said, trying to keep a frown on my face.
"I'm glad you asked, laddie. Now, let's go make a plan." Lou smirked, putting a hand on my shoulder. I smirked back. The truth is, I didn't really want to do this. I think I've fallen for her.
I sighed and put both hands in my pants pockets. I walked over to my blue Volkswagen Beetle convertible. I suddenly bumped into someone who immediately fell onto the floor. Ha, weakling. I looked at the person who fell and suppressed a gasp. I stared at Lauryn and her scattered books. I gave up the urge to help her up and held out my hand, which she hesitantly took and smiled that angelic smile.
"Sorry." She mumbled, but still kept that smile on her perfectly structured face. I shrugged my shoulders as she picked her books up and stood back up. She stared at the floor and didn't look up. Did she read the note? Maybe she's embarrassed she ran into such a charming man? Ahem, me.
"It's no big deal." I said after a while. I had to put an end to the suffocating silence. I looked anywhere but at her. "So, do you need a ride home?" I asked. I tried to stop myself, I really did. But I couldn't help it.
"Sure. Thanks." Lauryn responded, smiling. She got into the passengers seat while I got into the drivers seat. I put the key in and started the ignition. I backed up and drove away. "This is a nice car." She mumbled, running her hand along her window. I smirked a little.
"Thanks." I replied. I've never let any girl in this car. Well, except for my family members. I couldn't believe I was driving this girl home. It's so isn't like me.
"So where do you live?" I asked nervously.
"Just around this block." She said and smiled. I listened to her directions and pulled up to her home. I had seen Niall going inside the home as well. "Well goodbye then. Thank you for the ride." Lauryn said to me with a sweet smile.
"I'm harry, by the way." I told her. She waved one last time and closed the door. I drove away with a smile on my face. I couldn't seem to take it off. It was plastered.
I've got to get this girl with me. Not get rid of her. I thought to myself.
