05. Sleepover Secrets (2)

Ariana's POV

I stood on Lauryn's front step looking into the deep blue eyes of the boy I had a deep crush on. I cleared my throat, hoping not to stutter. "Um, hi Niall." I said nervously looking into his eyes. 

"What are you doing here?" He asked me, grinning. His smile just gave me life. It was everything. 

"Oh, hey Ariana!" I heard a familiar voice as I stood outside. It sure was hot. "Oh God, move Niall! Ariana please, come in." Lauryn said as she pulled me into the house. It was a lot cooler inside and it was just what I needed. "Sorry my idiotic brother kept you outside the door," she told me glaring at Niall. 

"I'm sorry too.." Niall said, chuckling. 

"It's quite alright." I said talking to the both of them mainly. 

"So, what is Ariana doing here?" Niall said his voice a bit croaky. I wonder if I had made him feel like that. I could tell Lauryn was catching on, because she smirked at him. 

"What do you care? Do you like her or something?" she said, teasing Niall. My cheeks got heated and I looked at my shoes. 

"Oh my gosh Lauryn!" Niall told her. I saw him run up the stairs. 

"Don't mind him, he's just stupid." Lauryn said. I smiled at her. I sure didn't think he was. 

"So he's your brother?" I asked her. She simply nodded. 

"Lauryn Horan." I said again. 

"I'm guessing you've met my brother, yeah?" She told me smiling. "Because I think I saw a bit of chemistry." I blushed again getting a bit embarrassed. 

"I don't know," I said even though I did know my feelings for him. 

"It's fine, I know you like him. I think you guys would be so cute together." I laughed at her. We walked down a hall and made a left into a room with a couple of bean bags, a bit TV, and different game consoles. Along with games/Cable. 

"Wanna watch Netflix?" she asked me. 

"Sure." I said. "Can you show me where the restroom is first?" I asked her. 

"Walk down the hall, second door to your right." She told me pressing buttons on a remote. I did as she said and bumped into someone. 

"Agh sorry I'm so clumsy.." I said, looking up to see that angelic face just once again. 

"It's alright," Niall said taking my hand and pulling me up. I just stood there looking into his eyes, forgetting about my bathroom needs. We were analyzing each others face for like 3 minutes until my lower area pulsed, indicating my bathroom needs. (A/N lol such detail.)

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom," I told Niall and he smiled at me. "Alright." He said, smiling wildly. I walked past him and I could feel his eyes glued to my back. It was gonna be a good night at the Horan house.

I came back to the room me and Lauryn were in and she was on her phone. "What would you like to do?" I asked her, getting a bit bored. 

"Wanna play a game?" she said. I was a bit skeptical, but I wanted to see what she had in mind. "Truth or dare." She said, looking devilish. I was a bit scared as to what would happen in the game, but I was gonna take a chance. It would make the night interesting. 

"Sure." I said smirking at her. "I'll go first," she says, tapping her chin. "Truth or Dare?" she says grinning. 

"Truth." I say, feeling scared as to what could happen if I'd say dare. "Is it true... that you have a crush on my brother?" my breath hitches in my throat as I debate whether or not to tell her. We sit In silence and Lauryn looks at her wrist, as If there was a watch on It then smiling at me. "Cmon, I'm not gettin' any younger here!" she says. 

"Okay! Okay. I may have a teeny weensy crush on your brother." She scoffs. 

"Oh please, give me the truth." 

"Fine. I have a crush on your brother. I admit it." I say, turning a bright pink. 

"Ooh, I knew it! I'll plan the wedding!!" I giggled a bit at her. She was just too much. 

"Alright, truth or dare?" I ask her. 

"Dare." Lauryn says. I think for a bit, trying to make a cheesy dare for her to do. 

"I dare you to text Niall..but on my phone..and just be weird to him." I say thinking that was the best dare ever. Lauryn laughed at me. 

"Okay." She said in between laughs. "Hand over the phone." She says, still smiling. I give it to her and she texts Niall. I partly had her do this dare just to get his number. I look over her shoulder to see what she's texting. "Stop breathing down my neck, Ari!" she laughs at me. I feel awkward and watch her text him from her side.

Me: Hello.

Me: I know your secret.

Niall: What? Who is this?

Me: I know you're in love with Ariana.

Niall: What?! Who is this!?

Me: Admit you love her!

Niall: How do you even know that?? I'm blocking this number.

Me: I know all!

Error: 404. Number has been blocked. This recipient cannot get your text. Try again later.

Lauryn laughed. "Oh wow, that was fun." She said. I laughed too, but then I thought about how Niall said "How do you even know that??' "I think he likes you too, basing on these messages." Lauryn said. I giggled. "Wanna go spy on him?" She told me. 

"Sure." I said, still grinning. I was having a really fun time. Lauryn and I walked over to a room, where we heard music playing. We opened the door, and saw Niall with headphones rocking his head to a song. Lauryn put a finger to her lips, indicating for me to be quiet. She tiptoed over to him and then pushed at his back, and went into a wild fit of laughter at his screaming reaction. I laughed too, and Niall turned around super annoyed. 

"Lauryn!" Then he looked at me and his face got softer. He started smiling and laughed along with us. Lauryn walked over to me and whispered. 

"He wouldn't be laughing if you weren't in here." She said, smirking. I ignored her, though her words made me feel all mushy inside. Niall winked at me and my heart skipped a beat. "Lets get out of here." Lauryn said walking out of the room taking my hand in hers. I turned back to get one more glance of Niall and he waved at me and smiled. I waved back at him and the door closed.

Me and Lauryn took a couple selfies, then watched white chicks. We went to sleep and I had dreams of Niall. "I'm in his house.." I thought, before I drifted off to sleep.
