Ariana's POV

It's been a week since the sleepover and my mind was still pondering about what Niall had texted back. Was Lauryn correct? Did he actually like me? My mind was too full of questions that I completely blocked out what Mrs. Waythe was saying during English. That earned me a detention after school, sadly. Lauryn, unfortunately, wasn't in my English class but she was in my next class which was P.E. We're doing soccer which is something I'm extremely good at.

The bell rang, signalling P.E and I, without any hesitation, grabbed my bag and literally ran out of the class. I pushed past people who were walking slowly in front of me until I reached the girls changing room. A group of girls were talking in the corner, one was holding up a picture of Niall. Jealousy erupted throughout my body. I stormed over to them, snatching the picture out of the girls' hand before ripping it up. I tried to stop myself but I couldn't and even if I did, it'd be too late.

I quickly changed into my soccer kit and looked around for Lauryn. Where is she? I sighed and Miss. Macklemore entered the room, a clipboard in her grasp. "Alright, ladies. There's a match coming up soon and I want a team. The best team, in fact. So during today's lesson, I will look for the best players and they shall be chosen for the team. Clear? Good. Let's go!" she yelled and we all ran out onto the field.

We were split into two teams, red and blue. I was in red and I was determined to get into the team for the upcoming match. In fact, I was so determined I couldn't concentrate properly. As the ball was kicked harshly towards me, I ran and kicked it. I fortunately managed to hit my target but as my eyes traveled in the same direction as the ball, I turned ghostly pale.

The white and blue soccer ball hit Niall on the head and he fell. My eyes widened and I froze in my spot. He had gotten up and picked up the ball, too. Niall looked around until his gaze was sent in my direction. We stared at each other for a few moments before he begun to laugh. He placed the ball onto the floor and swung his leg back before kicking the ball, sending it towards me. "Thanks!" is all I manage to say before he turns away, talking to his friends.

The game continues and I can't stop thinking about his smile, his laugh. My love for him.

Time Skip

"Alright, ladies. I've chosen the team for the upcoming match. If you haven't been chosen, tough luck, honey." Miss. Macklemore snarled, looking at her clipboard before yelling out names.

Arianna.

My name. My name was called out; I was chosen! I can't wait to tell Lauryn the - I turned around, then realizing Lauryn wasn't there. The bell went and I got changed faster than anybody else so I was allowed to leave. I walked silently to the parking lot of the school where Lauryn would normally be waiting so I'd have to call my mother.

As I was walking past a darkened area between the boys gym and the girls one, I heard a giggle. It sounded so familiar. Like Lauryn's. But that seemed impossible since I hadn't seen her all day neither had her teachers which, believe me, is quite suspicious. Maybe it was some whore and Harry, who knows? That guy is with a new girl every week.

Still, it couldn't hurt to check it out, right? I slowly crept to the darkened corner, careful not to be seen or heard. I looked around and gasped at the sight. There Lauryn was, attached to Harry. I gasped and the two turned to me, guilty looks on their faces as soon as they saw who it was; especially Lauryn's face which turned even paler.

I backed away slightly and Lauryn pushed Harry away, walking towards me. "It... It isn't what it looks like." Lauryn said.

"Oh really?" I scoffed. "'Cause to me, it seemed as though you two were about to merge into one!" I yelled.

"Arianna, please -" I cut her off.

"Save it, Lauryn." I replied, shaking my head. I turned around and ran off, only to bump into the one person I didn't want to see. Niall.

"Hey Arianna." he smiled. I didn't reply which seemed pretty rude, yes, but I wasn't in any mood at all to talk. Especially to the person I love and God knows what I could say about his sister by accident. "Want a ride home?" he asked and I nodded before I could even stop myself.

I got into the passenger seat of his car and as he entered, I put my seat belt on. Before starting the ignition, Niall put his seat belt on. He began to drive out of the school and the silence between us was causing a lot of awkward tension. He cleared his throat, shattering the silence like pieces of glass thrown to the floor. "So, why were you running?" he asked. I sent him a questioning look which he quickly answered by replying. "Earlier."

"Oh, just a little... Shock, I guess." I mumbled. I wanted to rat Lauryn out but then what kind of friend would I be? But my mind wasn't taking any of that. It wanted so badly to tell Niall what happened; that Lauryn was making out with Harry, a bully feared by all. Oh God, what would his reaction be? Would I be the cause of Harry's murder? Oh, what the hell am I on about? Niall wouldn't kill him, would he? Plus I don't know all of the story, so maybe she forced herself onto him. Nah, Lauryn isn't like that. Ugh, damn it. This is too much information for my brain to process.

As his car halts to a stop, I looked through the side window only to realize this isn't my street, its his. Hopefully, and I don't mean this in a bad way, Lauryn isn't here. I couldn't deal with drama at that precise moment. "Wanna come inside?" Niall asked with a smile.

"What choice do I have?" I joked, smiling a little. We entered his house and went to the living room. I must admit, I never paid a lot of attention to the decor whilst here from last time, but now that I'm paying more attention to it, its beautiful.

I sat down and he plopped himself down next to me and he positioned his feet on the glass coffee table sitting in front of us. He turned the TV on and dance Moms came on. My face lit up at the sight. I loved Dance Moms so much. Niall chuckles lightly and I loved at him. "What?" I questioned, folding my arms.

"Nothing, nothing." he responded, a smirk played at his lips. I frowned.

"Is it because I like something more than rugby or some other crappy sport?" I replied.

"Excuse you. Rugby is bae." Niall said.

"Did you seriously just say 'bae'?"

"Maybe. Got any proof?" Niall grinned like a child. I went to hit him with a pillow but he caught my wrist. We stared at each other for the longest time possible before he leaned in, his eyes trailed to my lips. "I like you." he mumbled before leaning in and our lips connected.

For a moment, I thought the world had stopped. But I know for sure my heart did.

- Sorry for the long update, guys. Also, Arianna hasn't read this chapter yet I decided to surprise her. This chapter is dedicated to her so I tried to add as much of her as I could without overdoing it. I hope she likes this chapter because I really tried.

I also hoped you lot liked it. -
