That was really, really f*ckin' weird.
Now why in the world was Kevin on his mind this much?
No, James most certainly was not in love with Kevin, despite how much his friends at the office were teasing and nagging him.
And no, Kevin hadn't been his best friend. They were doing fine friendship-wise, but James knew that Kevin had been a little tired of seeing the same people and wanted to be on his own. It was a little sad to see him go, but it didn't add up once heart-wrenching loneliness consumed James whenever he thought of Kevin.
Aleks was extremely mopey and offered little advice to James despite their close friendship. Irritated, James had to seek out advice from other friends.
..And he returned empty-handed (or empty-minded, or whatever).
Aleks made the decision to gloomily speak up. "Why're you so depressed, anyways?"
James quickly retorted. "Why are YOU so depressed, *sshole?" He took out a chair with a swift kick, and it clattered to the floor noisily. There was silence in the office for a good while after that. Aleks was poking at a bottle of vodka, not making any eye contact with James.
James huffed in irritation and let his gaze wander around the room. Murdering the chair felt good, so he kicked at another. It took a little longer to fall, but James prevailed in the end. He kicked at another chair, a new stool that had cost a lot of money, and even the table. He reached Aleks, who was looking up in fear. James felt something well up in his heart as he lifted his foot, ready to kick Aleks' chair and knock him to the ground. James barely seemed to notice that the room echoed with the sounds of his own yells. Aleks winced, leaning back, raising a hand to shield his face.
That was when the seal over James' heart snapped. He reared back, suddenly able to breathe again. He broke down and crumpled to the floor. No tears entered his eyes, but his whole body trembled in confusion and sorrow. The great gamer, reduced to nothing but his primal form.
As Aleks stared in disbelief, James muttered over and over. Aleks began to speak, knocking over the vodka bottle with his foot accidentally. "Wha... What the f*ck, man? Was that for your rage videos? I don't see a mic."
James continued to mumble, and quivered. "I'm in love with Kevin's cat... I-I'm in love with Keviiiin's cat-t..."
