This child was the child of James, and I want him to have it, I want to be there as she or he grows but I know it is impossible, because Damon would kill me as soon as I have delivered the child, and I do not know how long that will be.

I know that humans carry for nine months but how long do vampires carry? Is it the same amount of time or shorter?

When I was done crying, I had thought of a resolution, my resolution was that I would get the child to James, even if I die trying, because I want the best for my child and Damon would be the worst hands for he or she to be in, because I know that he would use the child for power.

"Don't worry, mommy is going to make sure that you are safe, when she is gone" I say rubbing my belly in a circular motion with a tear dripping down from my eye.

Chapter 16 - New Home

*{JAMES POV}*

Brenda came in and stood me up and then started dragging me to somewhere. We finally arrive at, what looks like a foyer, I see a girl with blonde hair, and for some reason I felt a pull, my heart racing, and my blood boiling, she was like a magnet.

I took small steps towards her, she must have heard my footsteps because she looked up and I saw her purple orbs. My head started to pound and I fell to my knees as visions of this girl with purple orbs were playing in my mind.

"Vanessa!?" I yell and tears of joy threaten to run, questioning if it was even her, there was no way that she would still be alive if she was human.

"Vladimir!" She yells with the same uncertainness. We look at each other in utter disbelief, until Vanessa got up from where she was sitting and gave me a bone crushing hug. "I thought you were dead, old, or I would never find you" She sniffs in between words.

Even though she continued to talk, I wasn't listening, my heart was racing in joy, and I felt like I was in another dimension, with no sorrow or pain, it felt like I was finally completed somehow, but there were still two holes that needed to be filled. I pushed away the pain that threaten to come back and stroked Vanessa's hair as I hugged her.

"My children" I hear a soft angelic voice whisper, barely audible, both Vanessa and I freeze in place; she must of felt the strong pull also. I slowly let go of Vanessa and we both turn around to face a tall blond women with blue eyes, and black hair.

We stay in that position for a while just staring at each other in silence. "Who are you? Why do I feel a connection?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow at her.

"I... I am..." She says looking sad.

"You're what?" Vanessa says finally speaking up, I look at her and see that she has a hand on her hip, and is tapping her foot, waiting impatiently for the women in front of us to answer. And I look at the women and look into her sad blue eyes, making my heart ache. 'Why do I feel like, I know this person so much?'

"I am your... mother" She says whispering the last part. I tilt my head to the side trying to process the last word she said, 'mother?' I look at Vanessa, looking at her face to see if she just heard what I heard and she seems to be as confused as I am.
