Gone (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

(Joe's POV)

   While we were walking, I tried to remember all the information I know about the Forest of Light.

    The Forest of Light is the place where rumors that were told happened. We heard some people saying that on one of the night when a person dissapeared, a bright light flashed across the forest. It also happened two days after the person dissapeared.

    Then every night, one of the people in town always saw it. When I heard about this information, I quickly wrote it down on my notebook. I've heard that about 15 people dissaperad, including our dad and uncle.

   After 15 minutes we finally reached the Forest. It always creeps me out whenever I pass this forest. I saw Naomi and Ella hid behind Amy and Andrew. 

"You guys ready?" I asked and they all nodded slowly.

  I'm not surprised that even Kevin and Andrew are nervous. The forest is really, really scary. Kevin and Andrew was at the front, Ella still holding onto Andrew's shirt from behind. Naomi was also holding onto Amy's jacket while Naomi and Ella holding each other's hand. I was standing beside Amy.

  All six of us walked carefully into the forest looking left and right every minute. 

"H-hey, did you guys saw that?" Amy said, pointing at the right.

"Saw what?" Kevin asked.

"There was a shadow." She answered.

  "Aaaaa...stop it, I don't wanna hear anymore!" Ella said and Naomi nodded.

  Amy didn't talk about it anymore or all of us. I was looking at the right and saw a shadow running from a tree to another in a flash.

"Guys, I think that there's somebody behind that tree." I said, pointing to one of the trees in the forest. 

Amy nodded. "Yeah, I saw it too.....should we check?"

"No, remember? We have to be careful. If we go there, we might get hurt." Andrew said firmly.

"Right." Naomi and Ella said in unison while nodding.

  We all walked again and after 8 minutes, all of us suddenly stopped.

"W-w-what is that?" Ella stuttered.

"Y-you mean,who is that?" I corrected.

  In front of us was....well..us. More like, our reflection. Except, instead of being scared , they were smiling. Andrew put his hand on the reflected him and his hand went through. After that, he just started walking again and disspaeared.

"D-did Andrew just dissapeared?" Kevin asked.

"I think that we should also go." Amy said.

  Amy also put her hand on the reflected her, walked and dissappeared. Kevin and I looked at each other and nodded. We both told Ella and Naomi to do the same thing as Amy and Andrew did and they nodded too. All four of us put our hand on the reflected us and walked, not knowing what kind of danger might be waiting for us.
