Gone (ON HOLD)

Chapter 3

(Kevin's POV)

  I never thought that this was what I was going to see when I past through my reflection. The place was filled with different kind of flowers, just like a garden. Very big and beautiful. I looked at all of them and I can see in Ella's and Naomi's eyes that they wanted to play and run around the whole place.

"This is so pretty!"  Naomi squealed.

Ella nodded. "YEAH, the flower are so beautiful!" 

"Welcome, young ones." A voice said from behind us.

   We all turned around and saw a man wearing a black cloak. The man looked like he is around 35 years old. He was holding what look like a stick in his right hand.

"Who are you?" Andrew ask harshly.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."The man said.

"You didn't answer his questions." I said.

"My name is Delmore, one of the Delroy.  I was sent here to bring you to the hideout."

" Delroy? Hideout?" Amy repeated.

"I'm sorry, I should have explained first. The Delroy protects the city from monsters called Donovan. Their leader is Ravid, a very powerful man who wants to destroy the city, but we're sure that there's more to his plan than just that.

"We also have our very own hideout where all the Delroy's go to when something goes wrong or if there's a meeting. But nobody knows about the hideout. We have to keep it a secret or the monsters might attack us."

"If it's a secret, then why are you telling us?"  Joe ask.

 "I'm sure that you've heard of a book called The Legendary -"

   Before he could finish his sentence an arrow flew beside his right arm, nearly scratching it. All of us looked at the tree that the arrow flew from. Then we heard footsteps from all around us. I then realized that we're now surrounded by an ugly, green, huge monsters.

 "Be careful." Delmore warned. "this monsters are powerful."

    Delmore then chanted a spell in a language that I couldn't understand. Right after he finished his sentence a blue thingy was now surrounding us. He told us that this is a shield and that we shouldn't move from our place. All of us obeyed, scared that we might get hurt.

   He then chanted a different spell and a purple glow came out from his stick. He pointed the stick up and the light dissapeared. What was he doing!? I thought. I then saw the same purple light going to different directions and then all the monsters dissapeared. The light that was surrounding us also dissapeared.

"Hurry, we have to go before more of them come." Delmore ordered.

    He made a circle shape with his stick and a portal showed up. We all went through the portal and I went after Andrew did.

"What should we do now?" Andrew ask me while walking through a dark tunnel.

 "Maybe we should follow Delmore first. He seems like a good guy to me." I answered

 "I agree with you but we should be careful. We never know what might happen." He said

"Right," I agreed this is very confusing. I don't understand what's happening." 

"Yeah, and the book that he was gonna mention...could it be The Legendary Power ?"

"You mean the book that all of us have?"

"Yeah, I don't know why but I think that that was the book he was going to mention."

"Why?" I asked, very curious to know his answer.

"Remember the chapter when they found the sorcerer at the beginning of their adventure?"

"Yeah, they were in danger but then the sorcerer came to help them, right?"

He nodded. "Our situation was almost like theirs."

I then thought about our situation again.

"We're here." Delmore said interrupting my thoughts.

  Delmore opened the door that's in front of us and told us to go in. We obeyed and went in. All six of us gasped.
