I was walking along the hall of my new school towards my class room when I heard voices of 3 boys "Hay Jude, how do you like it here at Anchor beach?" I turned around and replied saying "Ok." One of the boys walked towards me and grabbed my bag as he did he took a step forward telling me to "watch out." He dropped my bag and all the books dropped onto the floor as they walked away laughing. I have no idea why they had just done that but I knew they where the last thing I should be worrying about. "Hay, need help?" I looked up and there was a boy gathering up my things from the floor "oh, thank you..." I said as I stood up "It's Connor." he smiled and I laughed "I'm Jude, nice to meet you Connor." He handed over my books and patted my shoulder smiling "See you around, Jude." He seemed like a nice boy "yeah, see you around, Connor."
At lunch I sat beside my sister Callie when Connor came and invited me to lunch "go ahead, make a friend." Said Callie. I grabbed my bag and headed to Connor's table. "Hay, Connor. Thanks for inviting me. Where's everyone else?" I said sitting down and placing my tray onto the table "Oh it's just us two." He smiled and began eating his sandwich "So, you're new here? Aren't you?" He asked whilst chewing on his food "Yes, I am" I replied "I've never seen you around before, you seem like a nice guy Jude." I blushed a little, Connor seems friendly "thank you Connor, so do you." It's nice to be making a friend on my first day.
