As I rolled over in my bed, I expected to see the sight of Kai next me but I was surprised when there was an empty space. Once I turned back, sitting up with the blankets still covering me, I saw him getting dressed.

"Where are you heading off to?" I inquired in a raspy groggy voice. It was only ten o'clock and we had already made plans for today.

"I'm going to have coffee with Bonnie. Luckily, she agreed to it," He answered, while wiping the lint off of his shirt.

I know that I shouldn't be jealous, but I was. Kai was trying to make things better with her, and I was supporting him because I care about him.

But I couldn't help but wonder if finally being able to feel new things, was him realizing how he truly felt about her. Which made me more curious of how exactly Bonnie and Kai were when they were in 1994.

And now I just realized that I was worried girlfriend.

"Oh. I just that thought that we were going out today." I replied in a low tone. "We could go another, I promise." He said, looking at me.

I sighed deeply and glanced down. Kai came towards me and lifted my chin and kissed me. "I said, I promise."

I was in need of advice and since Elena was out with Damon, there was no way I was talking to Jo about my relationship with her twin, and Bonnie wasn't an option. Caroline was the only one left.

Even though she wasn't herself exactly, she will give me tough love and be brutally honest which was exactly what I needed.

I walked inside her dorm and she was already on her way out. "Hey, can we talk?" I asked. "Fine. But make it quick." She told me as she sat on the edge of her bed.

"Am I crazy worried girlfriend to think that Kai has feelings for Bonnie even though she significantly hates him?" I blurted out.

"According to Damon he was like all over her, very flirty. Oh and he even made her do a useless spell just so that she could get his hands on him," She informed me, as she retouched her lip gloss with her mirror in her other hand.

I was shocked, and sadly I was wrong for thinking that I was just being paranoid. And now I'm afraid that I do have a reason to be worried.

Caroline shut the mirror and placed that and her lip gloss in her purse as she looked up at me with a bright smile. "Caroline caring time is over. Bye!" She said enthusiastically as she got up and left.

I got a phone call from Kai asking for a ride to Jo and Alaric's apartment. He said how he wasn't feeling well and that it might have to deal with the fact that he didn't merge with his twin.

"Thanks," he said as he got inside my car. On our way to Jo's, I decided to ask Kai some questions about the time he spent with Bonnie.

"How was coffee with Bonnie?" I asked without making any eye contact with him. I could tell that looked over at me before he got the chance to answer.

"Great since she didn't give me a black eye. She even agreed to my proposal." He replied. "What proposal?" I inquired.

It better not be an engagement proposal.

"That I wasn't going to help Damon to go to the 1903 prison world unless she came." He told me honestly. "Would you still help Damon even if she said no?" I asked, but this time I looked at him.

"No."

Suddenly, it just hit me that Kai really cared about Bonnie. That making Bonnie accept him was top priority now that he's changed.

We pulled up to Jo and Alaric's apartment and I knocked on the door and Alaric opened the door with a bright smile.

"Hey Cora, what brings you here?" He questioned. Kai walked towards the door and Alaric's smile dropped and began to shut the door.

"Wait," I said with my hand on the door, stopping it from closing. "He's sick." I said. Kai began to speak but he got choked up, as Alaric gave him a bucket to puke in.

"Really sick." I correctly added, gaging at the disgusting blood.

Conceitedly, Jo was also sick due to food poisoning. "What are you doing here? I told you I was sick cause of food poising. Did the sound of me vomiting not clue you in?" Jo asked with her arms crossed.

"I feel like I'm dying because I got Luke's magic instead of yours. And If I die, so do you and dad and the entire dumb coven. So you need to fix me. Like now."

Jo couldn't detect what was causing Kai to throw up with her medical knowledge. Then suddenly, Kai felt a pain and held onto Jo and siphoned some of her magic.

He let go and sighed deeply. "That was an accident, I swear." He said. "I feel better now. Since I was supposed merge with you, I needed your magic. Give me your magic. Stuff in into something and--"

"Okay." Jo agreed abruptly. As Jo gave her magic to Kai, he thanked her before whispering something in her ear which left her looking surprised.

Once we got back inside my car, I began to ask Kai what he had said to Jo.

"She's pregnant."
