Cadence POV
I laughed
"Ya like?" I asked
"Yea we like " Chris said
"I have almost the same car but yours is an BMW m4 but mine is an m3 " Crawford said
"YAASS man " I said with an high five. He hit my hand kinda hard
"Ouch crawf " I chuckled with him laughing with me.
"So y'all wanna drive somewhere?" I asked Chris was quiet and Crawford sqeuked
""YAS" Crawford screamed
"Chris what's wrong"
"He doesn't know how to drive a stick " Crawford said making fun of Chris. I glared at Crawford and he stopped.
"I'll teach you how to drive a stick Chris" I said happily
He smiled "Crawford tryed to teach me once but he sucks at teaching"
I grinned and unlocked my car
We all got in and I started my car
"Wait how old to you have to be to drive someone in California. "
"Your allowed " Chris said
"Ok I was asking because were im from you have to be 17 to have someone in your car that not a familey member" I said
They nodded and and I shifted and pulled out of the parking lot and shifted again. I drove to emptiest parking lot about 20 miles from town. We were about halfway there when I noticed the same guy has been riding on my tail for awhile now.
I looked back and turned back around.
"SERIOUSLY DUDE " I said frustrated
"What's wrong "Chris asked
"This dude is riding my bumper " I said
I pulled up to a red light.
The guy was right in my bumper he was like touching my car.
"Fine you play that way I'll play that way" I said Crawford laughed and Chris did too. The light changed and I stalled to get him mad he honked and I still stalled he went around and I stayed behind him. I took off and ride his bumper like he did mine . He sped up to about 70 and we were on a 55 mph street I stayed in limit and went on the hill I saw the car that was riding my bumper and honked at him and laughed . He flicked me off and we all three laughed I the car.
"Don't mess with me when I'm driving especially when it's in my stick" I said we laughed again and I pulled into the parking lot. We got out and Chris got in the drivers seat and I got in the passengers and Crawford got In the back.
"Ok Chris number one, the pedals relize you 3 pedals down there? I asked he nodded.
"Ok so the one on the right is obiously your gas the middle is your brake and to the far left is called a clutch. Do u know what the clutch is.
"It's when you press the clutch and shift " he said
"Yes now the most important thing is to NEVER I repeat NEVER press the clutch unless your shifting or else you will got flying forwards. " I said he nodded
"Ok so to shift to take off your gonna press the clutch all the way down shift then let go of the clutch and press the gas very slowly. I said I taught Chris to drive a shift and he did really well.
"Alright well pull the emergency brake on so it doesn't roll back" he nodded and did as I said. We got out of the car and I high fives Chris and got in the driver seat. I did my thing and started driving. we stuck behind some STUIPED guy
"Dude your going 35 in a 55!!!!" Crawford yelled
I shifted and saw there was no cars coming and I was able to go around. I revved my engine and we all laughed and I slowed down to the limit
"Aw why did you stop" Crawford whined
"Because I don't have my ligilized California license yet I'm in Georgia still so if I get pulled over I get my license taken away till I'm 18 and I can't get them taken away 3 days beofre my 17th birthday crawf" I said
"Your birthday is in 3 days " Chris asked
I shifted gears and then answered
"Yes it is " I said.
"What do you wanna do "
"Idk I want to see my friends back home but they can't come " I said
"This car reminds me so much of them" I said
"My other car meant so much to me it had every memory I have since my 16 th birthday and value things in my car but some Neanderthal. " I said
I shifted gears again and stalled alittle cuz my car was being weird.
"What are you doing " Crawford asked
"Stalling my car is being weird " I said. He nodded and I started to go alittle bit. The red lite was literally one green for two seconds
"This light is jacked so when you get the chance rev it and go" Crawford said I smirked
The light changed green and I revved it and took off I sloweled down almost all the way and turned but I glided when I did
"That's was so cool!" Chris yelled Crawford high fives me and we laughed. I turned I to my drive way and unlocked my door
"I have to out the garge thing in I dint have it in my car yet so " I said was hanging out of the car and I pulled my emergency brake up and I couldn't reach the stick.
I punched the clutch
"Crawford shift it " I said he did as I said and I got out of the car and opened the garage I jogged back to my car and got in and pulled into the garage
We all got out and I opened the door to my house
My mom was in the kitchen and she looked at us
"Hey why don't you invite them for dinner Sunday night " my mom asked me. I rolled my eyes
"Sure "
"Hey we gotta go we see later cadence" Crawford said we all three hugged each other and they left
"Quit rolling your eyes at me " my mom glared at me I ignored her and went to my basment and danced to the sing I should've kissed you. I created a routine after that I went to shower and fell asleep in my bed.
