Luffy x reader: comfort

Ace was dead. You knew it by the look of hurt, fear, and depression on luffy's face. Tears rolled down his face as you held him close, his warm tears, breath, and hands on you collarbone.  He then went to seek comfort from the rest of the crew, execpt for nami, who barely showed any compassion for her captain at the time and was rather focusing on the money she got. Luffy could not sleep at dinner, not touching even the meat on his plate. In fact, he just went in, sat down for a minute or two, and then got up and left. "I've never seen luffy like this, it's actually kind of sad." Sanji said, "at least the girls are not in a bad mood." your eyes shot open with rage hearing the last statement. "You asshole!! Show some compassion for the poor kid and quit being a jerk!!" You shouted at sanji pointing a finger at him. 

You stomped off, your face burning with rage. You slammed the door shut and walked off to comfort your lonely captain. You looked in the men's quarters to find luffy curled up in a ball on his bed, sobbing to himself. "(Name), is that you?" He choked out behind his tears. "Yes." You replied. You sat down on the bed next to him and patted his back. You were  suprised when he pulled him down to lay next to him. He hugged you and held you close, his breath close to your ear. He shuddered as he cried into your neck. "(Name)?" Luffy whispered. You looked into his eyes as he lifted his head up. "Yeah?" You replied. "Please, never leave me. Promise me (name)." He said. You kissed him and rolled him on his back so you could lay atop of him. 

You nuzzled him and kissed him once more. "I promise." You whispered in his ear. He pulled up the covers on the bed and kissed your forehead. Both your eyes fluttered closed as you fell asleep.
