**a couple years later**
Jungkook was at a fan signing. He sat, chatted with fans, gave them an autograph, the usual.
He was a bit glad that he became an idol and didn't run after Y/N. You know, love doesn't last forever.
As he signed, a particular fan walked up and he couldn't help but stare. The fan looked exactly like Y/N.
Jungkook shook his as he focused on the fan in front of him. When the particular fan went up to him, she frowned but smiled again.
"Hello!" She said.
"Hey," Jungkook said. "what's your name?"
"Uh. Y/N," said the fan.
Jungkook looked up her, shocked. She put a finger against her lips and said "shhh."
"You're her," Jungkook said as he began scribbling as fast as he could on her poster.
When he finished, the fan bowed before moving to the last member, Yoongi. Yoongi read the little note Jungkook wrote on the paper and looked up at Y/N confusingly before realizing that Y/N was the girl Jungkook always talked about during the trainee days.
When Y/N got her poster back, she looked at the note Jungkook put on it.
I was at the airport the whole time. Even your mom knew I was there but kept it a secret. You could even ask your mom. Since I was at the airport, that means that I still love you. I hope we could date in the future.
