Len POV
((--Flash back: after lunch the day--))
Rin didn't sit with me at lunch today. I wonder if it was because of whatever I said in the janitors closet.
"Geez," I sighed,"why and am I such an idiot?!"
For the rest of lunch I sat alone contemplating what stupid thing I must have said.
Lunch period and the rest of the day seemed like forever.... Maybe it was because of Rin.
School ended as usual, and Rin wasn't here waiting for me.
Damn, I must have screwed up big time for her to avoid me this much.
I collected my things and began to walk home alone.
It was Friday, and I didn't know how to spend the weekend without Rin, so I decided I would just walk around the town.
I ordered some food at the nearby fast food place, and are my meal alone once again.
"Rin," I moaned,"why do you hate me??!!!"
I figured I must have said that way to loudly because everyone at the diner was staring at me.
"Okay," I said to myself,"I better get going now..."
I ran out of the restaurant to hide my embarrassment.
After running a few blocks down, I caught my breath, and sighed,"Thank God I'm outta there."
I took a stroll down the path, wandering as I progressed on, and found a girl with a cute white bow on her head crying.
Could that be Rin?
"Rin?" I called out to her,"are you okay?"
She turned to face me.
"I'm fine," she replied. Her voice seemed chokey and shaky. Suddenly she began walking although the light was still red.
"Rin stop!" I yelled.
Luckily, I grabbed her hand, and pulled her to the safe side of the road.
We both landed on the sidewalk but landed in an awkward position.
I was on top of her... And we were centimeters away from each others faces.
"Um.. Umm.." She said quickly," I have to go!"
I figured that I would tease her a bit as revenge for leaving me. She tried to get up, but I kept her pinned down on the ground.
"Hey! I need to go!" She struggled but. I made sure to firm my grip.
"No! Not untill you tell me what's wrong with you!" I told her.
"But we're in public!" I think I might have seen her blush a bit.
I could feel the eyes of people staring at us as they passed by, but I didn't care.
"Well you better hurry up and tell me then, Rin." I told her. Geez, Rin can be so damn stubborn sometimes.
She paused and sighed, then looked me in the eye.
"Umm... Well you see... Earlier today Miku and I... We got into a fight, and I'm just remembering what happened." She said.
"Oh ok," I said with relief. I'm glad it wasn't about me," why don't I talk to Miku for you? Maybe you guys can make up tomorrow and meet up?"
I hated seeing Rin sad, so this was the least I could do. And after all, I wanted to make up for saying whatever I said in the janitors closet earlier today.
"Yea.. Ok.. Sounds good," Rin told me.
"Ok then, I'll find Miku and talk to her, see ya!" I got off of Rin and began to find miku.
After running a bit, I looked back to see if she was still there, but she wasn't.
"I'll do this for you, Rin!" I told myself.
I got my phone out of my pocket, and called up Miku.
((I don't know how he got her number, but he just did ok? Just imagine with me ;))
"Hey, Miku," My voice distorted from running,"are you busy at the moment?"
"No."
"Ok, good. Where are you?"
"I'm at the library. Len are you running?"
"Yea, I am. Listen, I'll meet you there in a bit. I need to talk to you about Rin."
I ended the call and sprinted to the library as fast as my feet could carry me.
When I got there, I met up with Miku, and she told me what had happened with Rin.
"So she's going with them to their night club?!" I exclaimed with rage, and astonishment.
I couldn't believe that Gakupo and the others could do this to me again! They had already taken Lenka away from me, and now they were doing this to Rin!
I slammed my fist down at the table with rage, and then the librarian looked at me sternly, and shushed me harshly.
"Sorry," I whispered back at her," Anyways, I'm going to save Rin." I got up and got ready to leave, but Miku grabbed my wrist.
"C'mon Len!" She pulled me," You're going up against a group of five guys all by yourself! Who knows what they could do to you!"
"Well, what do you think is gonna happen to Rin?! That's an even worse fate than if I went alone!"
"Please, Len, just don't get yourself hurt. Rin, she... She really cares about you, you know. Like alot. I know she hasn't said anything, but trust me. She really--"
"I know what you mean," I smiled. That was more than enough to fuel my will to save Rin.
"Thanks Miku. Don't worry I'll be fine."
I then left, on my way to plan my rescue mission.
To be continued...
