::Chapter Eight::

When we arrived back at mine Iplace the beers we grabbed on the way into the fridge to chill andhand the guy a bunch of take away menus while I head up to my roomdry off and change into my pjs.

I joined the guys and we orderedsome food and settled on the Texas chainsaw massacre to watch. Iclaimed my usual spot on the right side of the couch Zak claimed theseat next to me and Aaron next to him while Nick enjoyed my reclinerchair.

When the food Arrived Zak got itwhile I grabbed us all a beer and hit play on the movie. We were allsilent while we ate and once I had my fill I grabbed the blanket thathung over the back of the couch and snuggled down to enjoy the film.Once Zak had finished his he decided I should share that blanket andjoined me. I don't think it was long til I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke on thecouch alone. Pulling myself up I noticed the living room table hadbeen cleared. It was then that I heard dishes clinking in thekitchen. I headed toward the nose to find Zak and Nick in there Zakwas making coffee while Nick was sitting at the kitchen table on hisphone.

"Morning sleepy." Nickgreeted me.

"Oh hey, Aaron's popped outfor breakfast, coffee?" I nodded and couldn't help but smile. Ifelt really happy for some reason.

"A girl could get used towaking up like this." I informed them as I took a seat next toNick. "Who's that?" I asked seeing a little girl on his phone."Sorry I didn't mean to pry it just caught my eye." I askedspotting the photo of a cute little blonde hair blue eyed girl.

"It's fine." He flashed asmile. "It's my little girl Annabelle."

"She is gorgeous."

"Of course she is, she is mydaughter." He chuckled. "Nah she really looks like her momma."he clicked a few things on his phone and showed me a photo of hiswife. "That's Veronique."

"Wow she is beautiful, you'rea very lucky man Groff." I grinned.

"Tell me something I don'tknow." he replied beaming with pride.

"Aaron in the house." Aaroncalled as he entered.

"Well it's a good job Brook isnow awake as if she wasn't you would have just woke her." Zak said.

"Oops sorry."

"It would take more than thatto wake me." I laughed taking the bags from Him and nosing through.

"Oi you sit your ass down, I'mcooking." Zak shooed me awake. I saluted him and retook my seat.

"A girl could really get usedto this." I smiled. "Actually no, I feel useless just sittinghere."

"Tell you what why don;t yougo shower or do whatever you usually do in the morning, breakfastwill be another half hour at least." Zak suggested so that is whatI did.

After breakfast which was a fullEnglish we headed out to check on the preparation for Jacks burial. It seemed everything was going well. Nick went back to the hotelwhich was now open to the public again and they guys were staying inas Liam had suggested, to Skype with his family as he done the sametime everyday. Aaron Zak and I puttered about town done a bit ofshopping and we met up with Nick again for lunch.

After lunch we attended Jack'sburial. We decided to bury him next to the well so that walkers couldcome across see it and hopefully pay their respects. We collected thecoffin from the funeral home and we drove to the well where Zak, Nickand Aaron carried it from the car to the well like they would anyother coffin, on the shoulders. Once we arrived at the well the holewas already dug up as Zak hired a grave digger to do it. They placedthe coffin at the side of the hole and I noted the tombstone itsimply read.
