As fragile as a breaking line
I lay here
Waiting for a sign
That I should stay here
It could be anything
Anything at all
Just something
It can be small
I need something to tell me
To dispel my fear
So I can live happily
And not like a fidgety hare
Did you hear that sound
Did you see that sight
Is it to death I'm bound
Or will I stay in the light
I have been give a sign
It was so very clear
I'm not at the end of my line
And I no longer live in fear
