Hey guys!!

How are you all doing? It's been forever, I know, and I just wanted to hop on here to explain a few things.

So... I haven't updated since August (yeah... yikes 😭). Honestly, it's been a lot. I went through a breakup around that time, which really knocked me down for a while. It was one of the hardest things I've gone through (dramatic maybe, but still true), and writing just wasn't something I could bring myself to do.

Then in September, I started college!! Which has been amazing but so overwhelming. Between classes, deadlines, and trying to adjust, I've had barely any time to sit down and write the way I want to.

On top of that, I've kinda lost motivation to write or even read lately, which makes me sad because I genuinely love Wattpad and this story so much. I've also not really been in my TVD era recently, which hasn't helped either 😭

I know this probably sounds like a whole list of excuses, but I just wanted to be honest about where I've been. You guys deserve an explanation — especially since so many of you have been asking when the next update is coming.

I am trying to rewatch TVD to see if that'll help, but it's hard to do so because I've been so busy. However, I'm going to try!

That being said, I do want to finish this book. I love this story and all of you who've supported it from the start. You deserve to see it completed — and trust me, we're getting so close to the really good parts 👀

also i wanna read some tvd fics, preferably elijah fics so if you guys have any recommendations, leave them in the comments!!

So any encouragement or help to get back into writing mode would mean the world to me. Thank you all for being so patient and kind — I love you guys more than you know. <3333
