This is literally what happened over night, and a little in the morning.

Sam got back under the sheets, and pulled Danny under, too. She moved to the edge of the bed so it wouldn't be awkward, I mean, he's her best friend.
She started to close her eyes, but immediately opened them again when she heard Danny shuffling around behind her. She turned her head, but didn't look directly at him, when the shuffling stopped, she turned her head back down and attempted to close her eyes again. She opened her eyes when she felt a warmth at her waist. She looked down to see Danny's arm.
Then she felt warmth at her back. Danny moved closer! What is he doing?! Sam thought to herself. Does he know he's doing this?
It was then when Danny snuggled closer to Sam, burying his face in her neck, and sighing contently.
She tensed for a second, not knowing what exactly is happening at the moment.
Ah, what the heck.
She relaxed and backed closer into Danny, his arm tightening around her stomach and tugging her closer.
