Truth behind Sakura

Chapter 12

We were at the woods near Tazuna-san's house. Sensei said that he will show us what we have to do then we are on our own. I was leaning on one of the trees that were surrounding us. Sensei was talking but I didn't pay much attention on what he was saying because I was glaring at his crutches.

''.... ura? Sakura?'' I snapped out of my thoughts looking up at sensei. I glanced at Naru-kun and Sasuke and saw them also looking at me. I shook my head lightly and looked back sensei.

''What did you say sensei?'' I asked. He sighed and I scrached the back of my head smiling sheepeshly.

''I said that your training is to climb the trees behind you using your chakra.'' I looked questionably at him. Does he no know that I can already do that? I nodded slowly and looked at tree behind me. I don't get why he's making us do this. I glanced at the boys and saw them struggling. I almost facepalmed myself. I know how to climb a tree using chakra but they don't.... I sighed and concentrated chaneling chakra to my legs. I just have to keep a steady flow, not too strong and not too weak. I put one foot on the bark of the tree and then the other. I walked up the tree keeping the same steady flow. I came to the branched part and sat down on the second one.

''Looks like the female member of the team has the best chakra control....'' I heared sensei say which made me smile with pride. I don't know why, it just did.

''Naruto I thought you said you were going to be the next Hokage.... looks like Sakura will beat you to it.'' he said looking at Naru-kun then he looked at Sasuke.

''And it looks like the almighty Uchiha clan isn't almighty after all....'' I know he's just doing that to encourage them to keep going but it was quite harsh if you ask me. I jumped down from the branch and landed in front of sensei smiling.

''Lets go I have something else for you to do.'' he said and I nodded. Just I started following him, I heared Naru-kun call me and I walked over to him.

''What is it?'' I asked crouching down because he was sitting on the ground.

''How did you do it?'' he asked whispering and glaring at Sasuke. I shook my head smiling.

''You just have to find the right amount of chakra that is needed and keep it on the same level as you walk.'' I said as simply as I could. He looked at me blanky then grinned. I stood up and looked over at Sasuke to see that he was looking at us. I walked over to him and told him the same thing as Naru-kun. He nodded and they both continued trying as I started walking away. I need to find sensei somehow. 'And how exactly am I suppose to do that?' I sighed looking around myself. I accidentally let out a small wave of my chakra through the ground as I stomped my foot in frustration. I quickly turned around feeling two like presences behind me where Naru-kun and Sasuke are. There was no one there. I knitted my eyebrows in confusion. They were there....

Actually.... they were in the same distance from me as Naru-kun and Sasuke. I read in one book that shinobi can sense each other and that there are Sensor Type ninja that excel in that. 'Did I just do that? Did I sense their chakra?' there is only one way to make sure. I sent more of my chakra to my feet and could feel it now going through the ground beneath me. Ahead of me I could feel another chakra but this one was stronger then Naru-kun and Sasuke. There's only one way to see if that's sensei. I started running in the direction of the chakra.

After a while I came to a small clearing and saw sensei there. 'I was right that is his chakra!' I was jumping with joy in my mide. I'm so glad that that wasn't another ninja. Sensei turned around looking at me and I walked over to him.

''I see you were able to find me....'' I nodded smiling at him. I somehow have a feeling he did that on purpose.

''I had something in plan for you, but.... do you want to work on something else?'' I grinned at him. 'Yes! This is my chance!'

''Sensei, I would like to increase my chakra reserve.'' I said seriously looking at him. If I can do that I can help much more and heal everyone. He gave me a stirn look as if he was trying to figure out why I wanted to do that. We had a staring contest and I wasn't planning on backing down. He finally sighed which led me to smile knowing I won.

''Fine.... but firts you must warm up and you must make sure your wound is fine enough for you to train.'' he said looking stirnly at me. I nodded determined. He sighed yet again.

''You'll do two hundred squats, pushups and sit-up for warming up and then run a hundred and fifty laps around this clearing. A hundred sprinting and fifty on your hands.'' my mouth fell open. He can't be serious, can he? I looked at him closely and was not a trace of humor.

''Hai!'' I said determined and started doing pushups.

~ An hour later ~

'One.... more...!' I flopped down onto my stomach as I finished doing pushups. I was breathing heavely. This is so much harder the I thought it would be. Naru-kun and Sasuke must be already finished by now, right? I slowly stood up still trying to catch my breath. And here I was thinking that I'm in great shape.... I tsked. 'No time for slacking.... if I want to protect those closest to me I must become stronger.'

With my determination back I started doing sit-ups.

~ One more hour later ~

'Damn him! Damn.... HIM!' I let out a big sigh as I was lying down on my back. I think I was breathing my lungs out and whizzing at the same time. And smart me forgot water.... just great. I sighed as I slowly stood up yet again and started doing squats.

~ And another hour ~

'Okay.... so this wasn't as bad as the other two.' I sighed shaking my legs trying to get them to hurt less. Not the greatest idea but that's all I've got. Now I just have to run a hundred and fifty laps around this clearing.

I sighed yet again and started running.

~ Two and a half hour later ~

''I swear.... to Kami.... I will give.... him.... hell.'' I was bent down trying to catch my breath after running all the laps around the clearing. I slowly straightened up taking in another big breath. I saw that the sun is starting to set behind the trees. If I want to do everything untill night falls I must do it now. I got down onto my hand and slowly started walking.

I'm so glad that I know how to stand and walk on my hands.

~ Another hour later ~

'Come on Sakura.... if you give up you wouldn't be able to beat him to a bloody pulp!' I have only two laps left and then I'm done. Just as I finished, my hands gave out and I fell onto my head. 'Shit!' I just stayed there lying on the ground a breathing heavily. 'Yes, I did it!' I cheered happely in my mind smiling. The night sky is beautiful here. All the stars shining brightly in the dark night sky. I was still smiling as I let out a sigh of relief.

I sat up groaning. I started chaneling charka to my hand like earlier today. I slowly pulled up my shirt and gently placed my hand on the wound. I could feel the muscles around the wound starting to relax and I smiled. After I was done with that I moved my hand around my body relaxing every muscle.

I laid back down on the ground as I finished healing my sore muscles. I sighed in relief seeing as they don't hurt any more. I closed my eyes just for a second and everything went black.
