The Dual

I pulled out Riptide and squared Phoebe off. I smirked at her as I did so. I'm not normally so cocky but this girl was getting on my nerves and i felt pretty confident. A thing I forgot to tell you, I was blessed by Athena after I retrieved the apple. As we circled each other my new and enhanced brain was coming up with battle strategies and I realised that being able to control water should mean I'm able to control ice? Because ice is solidified water! Don't ask how I no that I guess it was just Athena's blessing. I held onto this idea as Phoebe jabbed at me with her spear.
As she jabbed at me I slapped my watch and the shield that Tyson made me sprung to life, with my shield I deflected the strike and spun away.
Phoebe eagerly followed me looking to try and end the fight quickly. As she swung wildly at my head I ducked and slashed at her un guarded stomach, she tried to jump back but she was a little to late, my blade sliced her stomach and all the hunters gasped seemingly surprised that I could land a blow.
Phoebe charged again clearly angry that I cut her but I rolled to the side and pulled water from the river using my powers and sent a blast into her back causing her to face plant.
Phoebe got up and growled launching her spear at me with surprising force.
I used the water molecules in the air to knock the spear to the side so it skimmed past my face.
Gods bless Athena's blessing
Phoebe then pulled out her bow and started shooting arrow after arrow at me, I pulled more water from the river and spread it out in front of me as a shield and solidified it into ice faster than my brain could register.
Phoebe must of ran out of arrows because the onslaught stopped so I dispersed the ice shield in front of me and saw Phoebe charging me with two hunting knifes.
I parried her strikes and continued to dodge them and block them with my shield as she grew more and more reckless.
Eventually she over powered one of her attacks and stumbled forward slightly, before she could correct herself I spun and hit her back making her stumble some more. As she turned around she was met with a blast of water to the face. Before she could charge again I wrapped her up to her armpits with water and froze it, I calmly walked up to her and put sword to her throat and Said "Yield?"
She glared at me before she said "yes" through the sound of her teeth chattering.
I dispersed the ice around her and dried her off. I turned around and was met with the stunned faces of the hunters. Even Artemis looked mildly surprised. There was a few moments if awkward silence before Thalia suddenly started roaring with laughter.
"You got totally owned Phoebe" said Thalia, tears of laughter streaming out of her eyes.

A/N I was thinking of making Percy Guardian of the Hunters. What do you think?
