Chapter 1

It was in the beginning of summer, Delirious and Cartoonz were at the park, taking a break from uploading and editing their videos, but that was a bad idea. Vanoss and the others seen them and joined them at the bench they were sitting on. All of them were complaining about how hot it was outside "I'm calling her." He grabbed his phone and dialed her number and also putting it on speaker. She answered "Hey Luke!" They heard "Hey Mira." Both Delirious and Luke said "Hey D." She replied to him "What do you need?" Luke wiped off the sweat running down the side of his face "Are you busy?" She laughed a little "No, just sitting out around my pool." The sighed in relief as she laughed. Luke didn't have to ask her to come by "Can we bring some friends?" Delirious asked "Yeah, sure." She giggled, knowing they were coming by. They both said bye to her before hanging up. Luke and Delirious got up from the bench "We are going swimming." He asked them "Hell yeah!" Tyler shouted. Luke gave them the address before leaving to get ready.

When they got to her house, they heard loud music from the back yard playing. Delirious opened the door as they followed behind him and Luke. They got to the back yard and saw a girl; long blonde hair, tan skin, flip flops, red bikini. She was laying out in the sun "Hey guys." She smiled widely, motioning them to come over "So, you're Mira Jane. I always see you with Cartoonz vlogging or playing games with Delirious and him." Vanoss said. She nodded and got up from her chair "And you're Vanossgaming, Mini Ladd, Lui Calibre, Wildcat, and Moo Snuckle." She chuckled, shaking their hands "Well, help yourselves to the pool." Luke and Delirious were the first ones to jump in. The others followed behind as she laughed, sitting down at the edge with her feet in the water while she watched them have fun.

~Luke pov ~

Mia was cleaning some of the dishes while I sat on the stool "so, Mira." I said trying to get rid of the silence "yes?" She was drying off the dishes now and putting them away" You want to play Mortal Kombat X?" I suggested. She nodded as she put her last dish away before we went into her living room, sitting on the couch as she got the game ready. I liked Mira when we first became friends in first grade; she went through a lot growing up. Her parents left her, so she was an orphan and no one wanted her; she grew up on her own. When she told me her story, I felt sorry for her, but she got through it well. As we played MKX, she cheered when she beat me "ha-ha, I beat you." She teased. I gave her a playful pout "don't worry I'll beat you." I smirked. We continued playing for an hour, but I soon had to leave.
The next day, I got a phone call from Delirious; wanting to hang out with the guys again. I agreed and got ready to head out, then met them at a small café. When I saw them at a table, I joined them. I heard my phone ring, so I took it out of my pocket seeing it was a text from Ruby. She was a girl I met a month ago and we became friends as well. Delirious didn't like her, he thought that she was too annoying and demanding, but she didn't seem that way to me.
"So Luke, do you like Mira?" I heard Delirious asked. I texted Ruby back "yeah, I known her all my life of..." "No, I mean do you have feeling for her?" I stopped in mid sentence of my text, looking at my friend beside me with a questioning look "no. We're just friends." Well it was mostly a lie. I did have feeling for the girl, I just don't want to be rejected and lose our friendship that we have.
I heard Delirious scoffed "don't tell me you're trying to get with Ruby?" I nodded and I could feel him glare, but I only ignored him continuing my text and sent it to her "Who's Ruby?" Evan asked "she's the most annoying girl ever; total bitch." I glared at Delirious, talking about her that way. He only nodded "that's not true Delirious. She's my friend" They went quiet and I felt arms wrapped around my neck "Hey Luke who are you guys talking about." I heard. Speaking of Ruby, she was here "hey Ruby. Nobody" She grabbed and chair. I saw Delirious shake his head in disapproval when she wasn't looking. Now she was sitting in between us "hey Delirious." He only nodded in response.
Time to time we would talk about our YouTube videos but then Ruby would find away to talk about something else that she liked. I could here Delirious groaning slightly in annoyance. I sighed and shook my head; he needs to give her a chance.

~ Mira pov ~

I was in my room, bored while browsing through my computer. There was nothing new, I already watched they newest video the guys posted. I sighed then looked over at a medium size picture frame. I saw the picture of Luke and me hugging while smiling at the camera, that's when I smiled at the picture of us, missing that day when we took that picture. Ever since I grew up without my parents, he was always there. He was there when no one wanted me, when I cried, when I was bullied, and he even went to prom with me in high school.
No matter what he was always there for me when I needed him, or when I didn't need him. My feelings began growing for him since he started hanging around me. I sighed and looked at my computer screen again getting lost in my thoughts. I jumped when I heard Delirious's ringtone playing. I grabbing my phone and answered it "yes Delirious?" I said with a small chuckle "the guys and I are at the café, do you want to join us?" He asked. I thought about. I did want time to myself "no." I answered as we said as he groaned "alright, but its no fun without you." I just chuckled "Next time." He agreed before hanging up. I looked at the photo of Luke and me again, knowing that if I told him how I felt he wouldn't feel the same. I turned off my computer and got up out of my seat. The sun was setting, so I left my house; I just needed some time to think, some where quiet. I left my house and began walking down the side walk. I wasn't scared to tell him, I'm use to rejection. I was scared to lose him. I couldn't lose the only person that I cared about, well besides Delirious.

As I continued walking, I ended at the park, so I sat down in the grass, leaning against a tree that was behind me, while starring at the sunset and sighed.
