I'm so sorry I didn't post last week on Wednesday, I was at camp. But I'm posting the next part early, enjoy!
The Point View hotel was tall and thin with windows lining the sides. The front door had a long cobblestone path leading up to it. Allen walked up to the path and pushed the front doors open. The hotel did not look too fancy, and he hoped staying one night would not cost much.
Allen walked up to the front desk
"Camilla?"
The woman looked up and smiled when she saw Allen.
"Oh, Allen!"Camilla was the same person who worked at the reception at the hospital Allen worked at. She only worked part time so it made sense for her to be here.
"Are you here to book a room?"
"No, actually I was looking for someone and I was hoping you could help me find her."
"Who is it? I'm sure I can help."
"My wife, Georgia."
"Georgia? Doesn't she live with you?"
"Yeah, I'm not sure what happened. I heard she was staying here."
"Let me check," she said happily as she started typing on the computer in front of her. "She is in room 547. Would you like me to make a key for you?"
"Yes please."
Only two minutes passed and the key was in Allen's hands.
"Thank you Camilla."
"No problem."Allen walked across the room to the elevators pressed the 'up' button then turned around to wave at Camilla. Then with a ding the doors opened, and he stepped in, pressing the button that would take him to the fifth floor as the doors slide closed.
It took about a minute to get to floor five, and when he got there it took about ten minutes to fine room 547. The fifth floor was so confusing because it was much like a maze. When Allen did fine the room he did not think to knock; he just scanned the key and pushed open the door. He did not realize how much it would scare Georgia.
"How did you find me!"
"Detective Willis."
"Well, I don't like him." Georgia snarled at Allen.
"Why are you even here?"
"Because you cheated on me!"
"What?"
"With that stupid girl I found in my bed when I came home from Texas."
"Georgia!"
"What?"
"That girl was homeless and I was just helping her, plus you weren't supposed to come home that night."
Georgia's face fell as she realized her assumption was wrong.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, pulling Allen into a hug, but he quickly stepped back
"Georgia, she's dead."Allen was worried that they might think that Georgia would have done something to harm 'patient a' so he quickly rushed her down to the police station without saying anything else.
