it's been 3 weeks now

me, Alex and some other guards moved in a village some miles away from the castle so that we could take care of the people there

this village couldn't compare to the city, although it was like a heaven, people there were sad because they couldn't afford a beautiful life

but i was there to change that

we built stores with organic products from the village so that everyone would have a job

many of the villagers had horses

i was talking long walks with them until the sun was down

this way i wasn't thinking about the past

we left the castle mostly because i couldn't stand Valtor's absence, i wasn't crying for hours in his room waiting for him to show up

but he never did.

Alex : would you like to go out to eat? the restaurant we saw earlier seemed really nice and quiet

Y/N : i'm not really in the mood tonight Alex, sorry

Alex : come with me, i promise you we will have fun

Y/N : go with Chris or Jason, i'm sure they'll be a better choice than me

Alex : Y/N... i am not dying for company, i just want to go out with you and to make you feel better, when you are not working you are locking yourself in the bedroom and i can't stand myself ignoring you

Y/N : you know how things are, i like your company but...

Alex : if you want to come with me i'd be happy don't waste any other words, he interrupted me

i left him alone in the living room and i went to my bedroom

i wasn't lying, i was not even hungry

but then i thought that he is always so caring about me and he puts so much effort to please me and then a dinner was not such a bad idea

i wore a tiny red dress and i met him at the door

Y/N : going somewhere?

he turned to me with eyes wide open, he liked the view of my half naked legs

Alex : it's mid November, you are going to get cold

Y/N : just enjoy

he was stunned

i wasn't intentionally wearing this dress, i didn't even cared about his opinion

we arrived at the cozy restaurant that i hadn't noticed before, it was empty

people there were too poor to eat out on a random Tuesday

we order a steak, a pasta and two glasses of wine

we enjoyed our dinner next to the fireplace

we didn't say a word to each other, he knew to not make me uncomfortable, but i wanted to talk

Y/N : do you like it here?

Alex : at the restaurant?

Y/N : no, this village, do you like it?

Alex : yeah, i can easily picture myself spending the holidays here

Y/N : so you see it just as vacation?

Alex : don't you?

Y/N : actually no, i love nature, and mostly i love the animals that live here

Alex : we could have some of them back to the castle
