"Stop it! Let go of me! Get off! I never loved you and I never will!" You screamed at your ex-boyfriend who was trying to take your clothes off. "Why can't you just except that we are NOT together anymore?!"

"Oh we are together baby. And you will do as I say. You will be my girlfriend," he whispered into your ear.

He pushed you against the wall of your room and smashed his lips to yours. You gave in and let him do it. He finally pulled away to catch his breath, "We'll continue this later." And with that he finally got out of your room.

He's gone for now, you thought.

The next week

"Stop. Just stop. We're at school. We can't do it here,"  you hissed.

He slapped you hard and you felt a slight trickle of something running down your nose. "Does it look like I give a crap if we're at school or not?"

You wiped your nose and blood covered your hand. You didn't want to get slapped again so all you said was, "fine."

Your ex-boyfriend smirked and smashed his lips to yours just like he did at home but instead of taking a breath after a while he shoved his tongue down your throat.

Just then your friend Thomas walked by. Great, you thought. One look at you guys and all he could say was, "What the bloody hell?"

You looked at him with pleading eyes and he got the message. "Hey! Let go of her!"

Your ex swung his head around, "make me," he snapped.

Now's your chance, you thought as you pushed your ex as hard as you could. He turned as fast as he could and slapped your arm. A red mark formed right after.

"Lay off of her!" Thomas yelled as he pushed your ex. Oh no, your ex wouldn't be afraid to hit Thomas. You launched yourself onto his arm before he could swing a punch at Thomas.

"Get off of me you bitch! I'm doing you a favor," he growled. He shook you off easily and continued his punch at Thomas. Before Thomas could dodge the punch landed square in his stomach.

"No!" You screamed. Thomas held his gut as your ex laid another punch to his jaw. "Stop!"

"Why should I?" Your ex laughed mockingly. He kicked Thomas until he was on the ground. He started to kick Thomas in the stomach and all Thomas could do was groan in pain now.

Before you knew it, you punched your ex as hard as you could in the face. A small cracking noise followed right after. You gasped as you noticed you broke his nose. Blood poured out nonstop. Your hands flew up to you mouth, how could you do this? Even to your ex.

That punch didn't stop him though. He slapped you harder right in the cheek.

Thomas was back on his feet and limped towards you. "Are you okay?"

You ignored him and glared at your ex. "Get away from us!" You said with a voice full of hatred.

He looked at you and laughed, "This isn't over if you think it is." And with that, he walked off to go to the nurse.

You didn't care anymore. You didn't care if you would get detention. You faced Thomas who's look was full of concern, "Are you okay?" He repeated.

"Me? You should look at yourself! Come on let's get out of here you need to rest," you grabbed his hand and walked out of the school.

You drove him to your house and made him rest on your couch. You washed the dry blood that was still on your hands and around your nose so you could give him a snack and a drink.

Once you did all that you sat down next to him on the couch. He looked so small and a few bruises had formed. "Hey, thanks for doing that back there," you said softly.

He shifted himself so he could look at you. "I'm just glad your okay. How long has he been doing that?"

Embarrassed, you looked down at the floor, "a while now."

"I'm sorry I never realized that before. I would have helped sooner," he apologized.

"It's not your fault. You didn't know. I shouldn't have been his girlfriend in the first place. Ugh, I shouldn't have been so stupid!" You screamed.

Thomas flinched at your sudden anger. "Hey it's okay. Everything will be alright now. I'll look after you."

You whimpered and laid down next to him. He wrapped his arms around you and for once in your life you actually felt safe.
