Screaming for Help

The Trial Pt.2

*Camila POV*

As I watch Lauren exit the stand my blood is boiling, how can someone treat another person so badly. I mean the bastard burned her hair off, beat her senseless, sexually assaulted her and still claims to be innocent. I can't even fathom being that vile and awful of a person.

"Mr. Griffin take the stand please" the judge says bringing me out of my thoughts 

I feel someone grab my hand, I look down and I see its Lauren she smiles softly, it immediately calms my nerves. I take a deep breathe to try to keep my anger in check while Tyrone is at the stand.

"So Mr. Griffin what made you turn so violent towards your girlfriend Ms. Jauregui?" Ty's lawyer questions

"She didn't do what was asked of her so I punished her for it"

Mahone is off put by that but continues to try and keep his client out of the depths of hell.

"You stated you punished her, in what ways did you do so"

"Most days I mainly spoke to her and told her to stop doing what she was doing, I don't know why every body's saying I hit her because I never laid a hand on her" Tyrone states feigning confusion

"What happened the first few times you told her not do something" Mahone questions further

"She cooked my breakfast incorrectly so I spoke to her and showed her how to do it, then she didn't use the right fabric softener on my clothes, I told her which one to use but she couldn't remember, so I told her off for that especially."

"To clarify you are saying you never laid a hand on your girlfriend Lauren Jauregui correct" Mahone pushes

"Yes that is what I am saying" Tyrone confirms

"No further questions your honor" the lawyer says before walking back to his seat

I'm about to blow my fucking top off at what he just said, and his lawyer is cool as a cucumber smiling as if he already won this case but little does he know Demi has pictures pre loaded on the TV to show just how much of a scum bag this dick really is.

Speak of the devil or more so grace of god Demi gets up ready to break Tyrone.

"Tyrone Griffin is it true that you and Ms. Jauregui had a three year long relationship" Demi starts off.

"Yes"

"And would say you were a good boyfriend in those years" 

"I still am a good boyfriend, why are you using past tense Lauren and I are still together" Ty states

Demi speaks not baffled in the least bit, this was apart of her plan

"As far as I was aware Lauren stated that things between you and her ended when she was hospitalized ?" I say as she bring up the pictures of Lauren's injuries on the screen behind me

Everyone gasps as I see Tyrone start to get a little irritated

"I was not made aware of that decision" Ty says, his nostrils flaring in anger 

"Clearly, but as you can see in these pictures your EX- girlfriend is badly beaten and I have witnesses pointing the finger at you, you can't tell me it wasn't you at the college the other day" 

"SHE'S NOT MY MOTHERFUCKING EX-GIRLFRIRND YOU PIECE OF SHIT LAWYER, OUR RELATIONSHIP IS NOT OVER UNTIL I SAY ITS OVER" Ty yells at the top if his lungs 

Lauren flinches and starts shaking, I bring her into my arms to try and help her calm down, while Ty looses his shit on Demi 

"SHE DESERVED EVERY ONE OF THOSE BEATINGS I GAVE HER SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO EVERYTHING I ASKED AND SHE DIDN'T IT WASN'T MY FAULT SHE IS SUCH A PIECE OF SHIT" he continues to yell.

The truth comes out as well as the guards to contain Ty, they wrestle him into his chair next to his lawyer and chain him to the table.

Demi makes her way over to us calmly and gently rubs Lauren's back trying to calm her down enough to at least hear the verdict.

The judge pounds her gavel and speaks up 

"Okay so after that I need no other witnesses called to the stand......in my 30 years of being a judge never have I ever had such a severe case of narcissism as you Mr. Griffin...without further ado I declare Mr. Tyrone Griffin guilty on all accounts of assault and battery, and sexual assault, I sentence you to life in prison without the possibility of parole." The judge speaks as the guards take a screaming Tyrone out of the court room.

"LET ME GO YOU STUPID CUNTS" he wails.

I hear Lauren start sobbing beside me, I give her a huge hug while whispering "Its all over, its okay"

 I see the judge get up and walk towards us

She starts speaking to Lauren "You Ms. Jauregui are such a strong woman with your whole life ahead of you, don't waste it. You have that asshole out of your life and he won't be coming back in it....I hope this new chapter in your life comes with peace and grace. I wish you well" the judge says as she shakes Lauren hand before disappearing behind a door.

Lauren jumps in my arms and kisses me passionately "I can't believe I'm finally free of him" she tells me relief bearing down fully in her tone

"Yeah you finally get to move on" 

"With you" Lauren says to me

"Really you still want to be with me" I say astonished

"Duh, I think your my soul mate, I've been searching for someone like you for so long. Its like your my missing puzzle piece.....so I can't wait to start a new chapter with you by my side" Lauren says punctuated with a peck on my lips.

I smile at her thinking how could I be so lucky to have such a beautiful woman by my side.

"Come on let's go home and celebrate with a glass of champagne" I say 

"Yeah that sounds like a great idea to me"

I smile nothing could beat the smile on my face, I think its brighter than the sun

A/N

There's gonna be some time jumps coming in the next couple of chapters nothing crazy but definitely at least a couple of months 

And there maybe be a little surprise coming Camila and Lauren might end up moving a lot quicker than what they had originally been planning but what else is new
