hi im Krista and my best friend just told me that her dad died. including the one that just died she currently has 2 dads one which loved her and her little sister very much {Micheal} and one which wants nothing to do with her or her sister{Thomas}. one day i was staying over her house in Vermont and her dad Thomas was there. he was packing up his stuff and moving away because he lived in the shed that was in the backyard. i watched him leave her without saying i love you or even hugging her. he just walked past us, got in his truck and left. i cant reemember what her reaction was but a year or two later her other dad {Micheal} got shot and died. she contacted me at about 11:30 at night saying that he died and she didnt even get to say goodbye. after that i talked to her every chance i got to but i still feel bad and i dont know wat to do i want to know how he actually died because she hasnt told me after she as told and i really want to know. how do i ask her with out making her neglect the question or crying ?
Answer: well Krista (lol I know the person who sent this I'm her other BFF we've been friends since we were young and our parents are good friends and we do a lot together and she's one of my closest friends but I'll keep her account anonymous for now she said) I think you should approach Lucy soon like the next time you see her (I'm your best friend so I know you don't see her often) and ask to talk to her and sit down and calmly and subtly bring up the subject and make sure you don't come on too strong or harsh be careful with yours words and think about what you will say before you talk to her, don't just wing it, this isn't Friday moms-not-cooking-so-I'll-eat-leftovers day, be cautious when talking about it and think thoroughly of what you'll say.
