-Rosanna's POV-
The girl had seen me; I aimed my bow at her, just in case.  As I approached, she backed up- I couldn't say I blamed her.

"Hey!  Who are you?"  I called out.  She didn't say her name.

"Are you alright?  What, are you mute or something?  Deaf, maybe?"  I asked.  She shook her head.

"I'm not mute or deaf, and I'm alright.  My name is Raven."  She had stopped backing up now, so I met her where she was.  I shook her hand.

"I'm Rosanna.  Nice to meet you, Raven..."  I slid my hand away.

"Uh... you wouldn't know how to get out of here, would you?"  Raven asked.  I shook my head.

"Sadly not.  But we'll find a way, trust m-"  I broke off as something started to run down my stomach and back.  I could see the glint of light reflecting off of a sword as the blood streamed out of the scars.  Weakened, I collapsed, using my hands and knees to keep myself up.

"Whoa!  H- Hang on!"  Raven rushed off, coming back a moment later with leaves and vines.  She patched the scars with the leaves and used the vines to keep them in place.  I thanked her and shakily stood up for a moment- only to fall back down.

I could see the blood on Raven's hands and soaking through the leaves.  The red liquid could still be felt on my stomach and back.  Nausea decided this was a good time to take its toll on me, and soon, I was lying on my stomach.

"I... I'll be okay... just go, I'll catch up..."  I told Raven weakly.  Then, the world went black.
