Chrysalis Part 5

"She saw the text, and Zach wont answer his phone. So once Dana admits it she can go," continues Juliet.

"Max, I swear I didn't do anything! But I bet Victoria did! I know the proof is in her room!" Dana shouts behind the closed door.

I go down the hall and see that Victoria's dorm rooms is open. She isn't in there so I go in, walk over to her desk, and go on her laptop. I looked through emails she sent and I found just the one I needed to show Juliet:

"So sad to inform you that I totally punked Juliet and Dana just now. All I had to do was mention to Juliet that I saw a nasty text from Dana on Zach's phone. They believed me and so I expect a dorm rampage soon. Juliet deserves this for taking Zach away from me. As for Dana.... Who cares? Get out your popcorn.

 The email proved that Dana didn't do anything. I hurried up and printed the email fast incase Victoria came back. I got out of the room and walked back down the hall to Juliet.

"Juliet, read this."

"Of course..." Juliet sighed as she opened the door to let Dana out. " I'm a jerk.. I'm sorry, Dana."

"You are, and I hope so. You really think I'd mess around with Zachary?" Dana questioned.

"No, but I get stupid jealous. I owe you dinner. Still love me?"

"And you do my laundry."

"Thanks, Max. You're like the Blackwell Ninja. Now let's see what Zach has to say about Victoria..." says Juliet as she walks out of the dorm.

Dana turns to Max, " You set me free. Thank you. Warren's flash drive is on my desk."

I walk into Dana's room and grabbed the flash drive. "Must protect my precious, so Max never has to chase it down again," I say in my head. I plug the flash drive into Dana's computer to make sure everything is still on there, which everything is. I take out the flash drive and walk over to Dana.

"Hey, Dana."

"Seriously, thanks again. I can't believe Juliet locked me in my own room. Real mature."

"Victoria is not nice. I don't get it. She has everything and to pull that prank one a friend. Just because they're in the Vortex Club doesn't they're BFF's. I'm in it and Victoria creeps me out. Max, you're smart to be a loner here. Though Warren obviously likes hanging out with you..."

"He's a good guy. A geek like me."

"You saw the files on his flash drive? Films I've never even heard of and in a special folder called 'Max'?"

"Yeah, okay. I gotcha," I walk out of Dana's room and get a text from Warren:

"I don't mind waiting out here forever. I love this parking lot. I can count all the cars..."

"The more I text the longer I take. On my way," I replied 

I exit the dorms and see Mr. Madsen yelling at Kate.

"Don't think I'm blind! I see everything here at Blackwell. Do you understand what I'm saying?" He said angrily.

"No, I don't, but leave me alone!" Kate says, her voice shaking with fear.

"Hey why don't you leave her alone?" I say stepping into the conversation.

"Excuse us, this is official campus business-" Mr. Madsen shoots back.

"Excuse me, you shouldn't be yelling at students. Or bullying them."

"Hey, hey no body is bullying anybody. I'm doing my job"
