What is the Curse?

Authors Note: Sorry! This is going to be a short chapter but I am hoping for a longer one next time. Please vote and give me ideas via commenting. I'd like to dedicate this chapter to niklaus1467.

I am amazed by the number of reads. I convinced myself I was going to get zero reads.

Lillian POV

When I regained my composure, I realised that I didn't even know what the hybrid curse was.

I went to the Mystic Falls library and went to the supernatural non-fiction section. I loudly read the spines of the books as I searched.

"Ssshh!" The librarian uttered.

I found only one book on the hybrid curse. It said that there was a man that was a vampire and werewolf hybrid. He had been cursed. If he broke the curse, he would be able to become a werewolf at will- which was not a good thing for humans or vampires.

I wondered what he (it was obviously Klaus) -I stopped and gazed dreamily at the ceiling- would have to do to break the curse. Then I saw it, titled 'The Breaking Of The Curse'. Hilarious. It said that a witch releases the curse from the moonstone via the moon. Then the man sacrifices a werewolf, a vampire and then drains a doppleganger of her/his blood.

Ahh, a doppleganger. That's something you don't see everyday. Really, it only happened about once a century, so Klaus must have luck on his side if he finds one.

I read on, and still, from such a thick, hefty book, found little more. Humans were so pathetic. They couldn't even write possibly-true myths. I rolled my eyes with disgust as I left the library.

I left the book behind.

I knew he would come back, probably asking me to help him with finding a doppleganger.
