Meet Elijah

Niklaus POV

I knocked on Lillian's door and I heard her grumble as she ambled to her door.

The grumpy face that answered the door lit up as it saw me. Then it shut down and she frowned. I wondered what I'd done.

"Um Lillian?" I asked uneasily.

"Yeah, yeah. You want me to help you search for a doppleganger," She said, rolling her eyes.

"Actually, Love, no, that wasn't why I was here." I smirked, tilting my head.

"Well then why are you here?" She asked, surprised.

Lillian POV

I had planned it all out so well... I had prepared a speech that would have him lost for words.

Now, incoherent words flew out of MY mouth.

Klaus POV

"Gobbaldde lopedi nethre," She gurgled.

The corner of my mouth curved up into a half-smile-half-smirk.

Then the string of nonsense coming from Lillian stopped. She just fell silent, staring, seemingly right through me, into the open, blue sky.

Then she looked at me and finally spoke six REAL words.

"What do you want from me?"She questioned, narrowing her eyes.

"Honestly, Love, I wanted you to meet my brother, Elijah," I replied, stepping aside to behold my brother.

Lillian POV

I just stood there. I didn't know that such a cold-hearted creature could have family.

"Hello, a pleasure to meet you," The man, Elijah, said, extending his hand.

I stepped back and slammed the door onto it.

Elijah POV

"OWW!" I swore under my breath.

"Oh, brother, always such a wuss." Klaus grinned, patting me on the back.

"I must've made a good impression," I said, grinning back.

"Of course you did brother. Of course you did. You're the Easter Bunny." But Klaus wasn't looking at me.

He was staring at the window, where Lillian was intently watching the scenes unfolding before her.
