[Vicki's POV]
Jake was the only one in Math class. Good boy. He was wearing skinny jeans, high tops, and a short sleeved shirt that read, "Wake up, Kick butt, repeat." Not too dressy. This kid seemed cool. Almost out of my league cool, but he liked me. I could feel it. He smiled at me, a pretty smile. What more could I ask for. He stood up and pulled the chair for me to sit down, a gentleman. I sat down, "I'm sorry about what happened in gym." I said awkwardly, we still had 5 minutes before class started. He lightly smiled, making me blush. "It was no problem, Vicki." He said my name, he knew my name.. I blushed again, laying my head on my desk trying to hide my blushing face. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I looked up, "Are you alright?" Jake said warmly. "I'm f-fine, thanks." Curse myself for stuttering. Around my friends (that I don't really have.) It was fine. But Jake. Gee. The teacher walked in, Ms. Drims. Her name was written on the board, very sloppily. Students started flooding in. I didn't make any eye contact with anyone, just Jake.
[Jake's POV]
I bit my lip. Vicki was staring at me. I started blushing, noticeable blushing. I quietly growled. People started flooding in. I wanted to talk to Vicki. Our next subject was.... Lunch. I could talk to her there. Ms. Drims (that I absolutely dread) scribbled on the board. Numbers x letters, blah. I didn't care for math. I payed attention, but it didn't really seem to stick... Vicki was writing in her notebook, not writing drawing. I tried to peak at what she was drawing but she covered it with her arm. I doubt that is was anything but the problem on the board. Vicki was a good school girl, she liked school. Surprising considering what happened today. I looked up at the board blankly, "Mr. Tuller, have you got the answer to the question?" I hadn't even seen the question, of course I hadn't gotten the answer, "Um no ma'am." I said nervously. I guess I have to admit, I wasn't the best person when it came to paying attention, but I did try, "Why is that?" I had to think, what was a good excuse to not pay attention? "I'm sorry.. I wasn't paying attention." Might as well tell the truth. "Please pay attention next time."  I felt bad, but mainly because I was embarrassing myself. I looked over at Vicki, she looked hurt...
