I was nervous, "What are you gonna do, throw rocks at me?" He chuckled, "Why would I do that?" I looked all up and down myself, "Why wouldn't you?" He held out a hand and I placed mine in his. His hand was much larger than mine. It was strong, sturdy, I didn't wanna let go. But then he closed his hand and tried to pull me up. I stood up falling into his arms and instantly blushing, "S-Sorry I slipped!" He just continued to hold me, "It's quite alright." Jake stood me up straight and looked me in the eye, "You should probably go clean up..." He had a saddened look in his eye and I realized everyone was laughing at me. "EVERYONE HIT THE SHOWERS!" Yelled the gym teacher.
[Jake's POV ]
I looked into her eyes, they sparkled... Her hands were so small and delicate. She fell into my arms, instantly apologizing, even though there was no problem. Vicki. Her name was Vicki. She seemed slightly wobbly so I held her for a second. Yeah. That's why I held her. I slowly stood her up straight and looked into her eyes again. I couldn't bare to see her like this. Everyone laughing. She was in pain, the poor gall. I didn't want to sound rude but how else was someone supposed to say something like this. I look at her, sadly, "You should probably go clean up." The gym teacher shouted the same, "I'll see you around, Vicki." She walked away. I watched every step she took making sure she was okay. She finally made it inside and I turned around to see my friends. They nudged me, just nagging at me. All I could do was smirk. Vicki made me happy, how could I help it. I ran off to the showers, and got dressed. Locker- 645, 33-5-43 easy. I went to my locker, quickly throwing my shoes and gym uniform in, and getting my math text book. I walked through the hall and into math class. No one was in the class room but hall way traffic noise filled in the silence. Vicki walked in, wearing a pink and white flannel, skinny jeans and converse. She looked perfect. I shook my head. I shouldn't stare.
