Kamigami no Asobi: The Mythical Student

~Ch 4~ The Entrance Ceremony

Rachel's POV:

"*Sigh* Zeus......" I sighed out loud, I stared at the gigantic Atlantis style palace in front of me. 'I'm the only immortal from Atlantis, Baka.' I thought. I sighed as I entered and instantly found my room. I looked at the uniform hanging next to my mirror. 

I put it on reluctantly as I brushed my hair and noticed that it was pretty dark outside now. "Konnichiwa." A gentle melodic voice greeted, I turned to see on my tea table was a small snow white fox with ice blue eyes. I smiled back in greeting, I may be negative for humans and the other gods, but I just love animals, especially the exotic ones. "And who might you be?" The fox politely bowed, "I'll be your guide and roommate here. My name is Colette." I smiled, "I look forward to it, are the others also having a special room mate like you?" Colette smiled innocently, "Only the other hesitant human girl with a failed experiment Zeus made, really, I pity Melissa..." *arrow points at Colette saying 'looks cute but is quite harsh.'*

I blinked, then giggled lightly, "I have a feeling that we will become quite good friends."

Next day.....

"Entrance ceremony? What in all of Atlantis is that?" I asked Colette, early next morning. We were watching the sun rise on the balcony, I suppose we're both early risers. "Well, as your guide, I had to study about normal human teens lives, which, of course, includes high school. Its a ceremony that they do to start off the year I think, a formal event which I think is absolutely not needed." 

"Hmm..." I looked at the sky which was changing from pink to blue. I then turned around and headed back inside. 'However, it shouldn't hurt to check it out...' I thought.

'So basically, and entrance ceremony is a large empty room? How boring.' I thought as I stared from the second floor at the large empty room. 

"Huh? Am I early?" I heard a voice suddenly interrupted the surprisingly comfortable silence. I nearly jumped up in shock as I stared at the just entered human girl. 'How could I not sense her?.... Oh wait, that's a stupid question, that narcissist Zeus sealed my powers.' I stared a little annoyed at my sapphire necklace, which in a different situation I might admire; But currently I hate. 

I took a breath to calm my nerves. This isn't the first time I had my powers sealed, I had them sealed quite few times actually, but when was the last time? I think a couple of hundred years ago? Hmm... Not that long. Still, if humans have to survive with these limits, humans are more stronger then I thought.

Suddenly I heard a thump. On instinct I back away into the shadows, I noticed how I wasn't making any noise when I walk (unlike some others) Probably thanks to all the practice I had doing random stuff when I was bored (which was usually always) 

I looked at the person who made that noise. It was the attractive light Norse god. Wait, did I say attractive? Well, its because he has this alluring positive aura. Hmm... Maybe I should research a little later.

I couldn't hear as well as I use too, but since they were particularly loud, their conversation was loud and clear. Not to mention that Balder was radiating some kind of jealousy aura.

"Good morning, Fairy-san!" A loud energetic voice interrupted their small moment (why is it that I only see these weird romance influenced moments?) 'Ah, its Zeus's energetic son. And the hot-headed sea god's brother.' I thought.

I sighed as I watched them 'interact'.

Suddenly, catching me by surprise, Apollon noticed me. "Good morning, Hime-chan!" He waved slightly dramatically at me. 'How did he.... Curse this stupid seal...' I mentally grumbled; not letting emotion show through my face.

"Ah! Rachel-san!" The human girl shouted at me. I mentally face-palmed.

My life is seriously going down hill.... Someone up there must hate me... Oh wait, I'm up here. Ok, scratch that, those three fates (old hags) must hate me. That, or Zeus just really enjoys annoying me.... I wonder what all those women who fell for him see in him? Poor, poor, Hera.

The thing is, I'm not really having much of an inspiration on Kamigami no Asobi these days. But I will still continue this story!
