Boss's assistant. (Hyunlix)

Decision.

It was a week later, Hyunjin was on call after call after call, it was a busy day today. Hyunjin would often glance at the blonde, who was also working at his own desk. Hyunjin smiled but then he'd be interrupted by the person he's calling, he groaned and then looked away, now annoyed as he spoke a bit harshly.

Felix then looked up and saw as the male had shifted away, Felix now understood the male was looking at him not so long ago, he chuckled and glanced back down at his computer.

Moments after, Mrs. Hwang walks into the office, not a single knock, Hyunjin had abruptly turned to the door, noticing it had opened, once he saw his mother come in he sighed and turned back to the call.

"I'll call you back later."

He then hung up and put his phone into his pocket, now staring at his mother who was walking up to him. Hyunjin sighed and then took a few steps closer to her, he then finally rested his eyes on her.

"Yes? Why are you here.."

Mrs. Hwang scoffs, she apparently thinks Hyunjin is giving her attitude.

"That's no way to talk to your mother."

"Mom—"

"I'm here so we can discuss about some stuff... alone."

She glanced at Felix and made eye contact with him, Felix then got the message and quickly got up and got out of the office. He was not about to upset her.

once felix left, Hyunjin's mother then laid his eyes back on the male. She cleared her throat.

"Me and your father have been speaking about what could benefit your company and make it much more successful.."

Hyunjin got a bit suspicious about it, he hummed and nodded.

"Right.. what about it? What's the plan."

He then crossed his arms and leaned slightly on his desk, something tells him he isn't going to like this..

"Me and your father have been talking to this other company, they're doing almost as good as us. Obviously our business is growing continuously, but this would really help us a lot. It benefits to you, and to us."

"Right. I understand that it's going to benefit us, but how exactly? No— that's not my question. I'm asking how exactly are we going to accomplish this?"

"You get married to their daughter! it merges our partnership, making us a much bigger and successful company, imagine the advantages that we get off of it! And well.. you get a wife too out of it. All goes well."

"Yeah— no. I'm going to stop you right there. I'm not marrying no one. My company is doing well without and it can continue without needing anyone's else's help. And it's going to continue that way."

Mrs. Hwang chuckled, she shook her head.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me."

Hyunjin let out a breathy laugh, he then scoffed and looked away, in disbelief. He then looked back at her.

"I cannot actually believe you expect me to go through with this.. arranged marriage you're doing for your own benefit. Frankly, i'm not a fan of it. So please, get out of my office, and out of my building."

Mrs. Hwang didn't budge, she just then placed her hands on her hips, also in disbelief. she shook her head, scoffing in annoyance.

"You're with someone aren't you. I see those marks on your neck. You're not sneaky, son."

Hyunjin rolled his eyes then moved his hand to his neck, covering it up a bit.. damn

Mrs. Hwang then sighed and began to walk off till she stopped in her tracks. She still had her back facing the male.

"Your father won't be pleased with this."

"I don't care."

Hyunjin could give a damn about what he thought of, it's not like they're gonna force him to marry her. Right?

I guess we're just gonna have to see how everything turns out.
