Rationalizing.

The door opened in a quick motion then closed loudly once Mrs. Hwang had pushed the door back, showing her anger through her actions, and while she stormed out she noticed that the assistant was there, he seemed to have been alarmed by her sudden reappearance again, especially after leaving the office so abruptly and shoving the door back, slamming it. Of course Felix had jumped to the noise, he wasn't expecting it.

Felix looked at the door and there was Hyunjin's mother, he simply glanced and almost gave her a nice smile till he saw her staring at him intently. Well.

She glanced at him, almost judging him, this was his assistant..?

She could tell something was off, she wasn't sure what it was. But it tells her that it has something to do with her son, now, she doesn't want to jump to conclusions, but she's partially jumping to conclusions.

Mrs. Hwang didn't give felix any more attention and just scoffed, once again storming away ferociously, leaving Felix there to feel self conscious about himself after he felt Hyunjin's Mother's eyes on him.

was he stinky?

Mrs. Hwang was storming very angrily over to her husband, showing clear signs of her frustration. Mr. Hwang looked up from his book and frowned, he knew this was something big if it was upsetting her THIS much.

Mr. Hwang reluctantly set down his book and sighed. He looked up at his fuming wife who clearly wanted to discuss about the current issue she had

"What is the problem?" His tone that he used showed that he had no interest in finding the solution to her problem, but he's her husband so he might as well listen to her complaints.
Mostly because all her problems would often be because someone was being rude to her, teenagers not "being respectful," and other issues that Mr. Hwang would often find silly.

"Your son! He's not wanting to negotiate with the arranged marriage. He needs to understand it'll profit us dearly and have a huge influence on the company."

She scoffed and straightened her stance, her arms crossing in front of her chest as she huffed.

Mr. Hwang looked back down on his book, lazily dragging his finger down to the corner of the page, flipping it to the following one. He had simply hummed in response to his wife who did not seem happy with a non verbal answer.

"Well!?!" Mrs. Hwang once again exclaimed angrily, she wanted to at least know his opinion in this, but then again she never truly listened and always went with what she thought and wanted. It's always — "Then why'd you ask!" following from her husband who'd always say that sentence.

Mr. Hwang once again sighed, he glanced back up at his angry wife, he then cleared his throat.

"He's 36, right? He knows what he's doing. We can't force him to do anything, he's an adult himself. We're not gonna make every decision for him."

Mrs. Hwang's anger slightly flickered when she heard her husband wrongly assume their son's age. She sighed and lowered her arms back down, averting her gaze from him and looking at anything that isn't her husband.

"Uhm, not quite.."

Once again, she sighed, seemingly disappointed at the fact her son wouldn't go along with her suggestion. She didn't exactly tell him it was a suggestion, she meant it more as a demand, but knowing her son? He'd be stubborn to not listen to her. Mrs. Hwang rolled her eyes at the thought of Hyunjin still being able to rebel against her at his grown age, that is NOT 36, but still grown.

Rationally, she came to the conclusion of not wanting to interfere with her son's decision anymore. Yes. She was persistent about this deal, but if she's being completely transparent, she'd rather keep her son close than watch him pull away from her after forcing him into a situation he doesn't want to be in.

Mrs. Hwang had wandered off in her own personal garden outside her gracious home. It made her furious how quickly she changed her mind, she truly believed she would've convinced Hyunjin, but again; she can't force her son at all.

The only issue that she seems to have right now is Hyunjin's assistant. Secretary. Whatever the boy was. She wouldn't say she hates him, but she hates him. Truthfully.
Mrs. Hwang was almost certain that the assistant was smitten with his son, and honestly she wasn't very pleased with this information.

With that being said, she needed to talk to Hyunjin about that issue.

i've now just noticed it's been 6 MONTHS, since i've last updated. i'm not even gonna lie with you, i've had like such ups and downs with my mental health in that timeframe.

I think i'm genuinely okay right now, and i think it's because i've had summer school this entire month, taking P.E, so it makes me really tired to even think of anything. And also exercise is really good mentally and physically, especially after making me run ALMOST EVERYDAY, it's been great.

hopefully next month i don't fall into a depressive cycle again, like it happens each year when i go to mexico. It'd be a pain to not finish this before it hits the two year mark since i've made it.

Don't worry, i'm planning on finishing it soon. Literally just a couple more chapters or so.

Hang on tight for the rollercoaster i have in mind!
