Juice had been gone for five days in Nevada to drive some guns back. Veronica woke up on a Tuesday at 8 in the morning and saw that she had a voicemail from Juice.
"I'll be at the clubhouse at 10-10:30. Love you baby," is what it said.
Veronica went to the bathroom and put some make-up on.
She also put on light wash jeans and a black top before heading to Teller-Morrow.
She went in the office because she saw Gemma.
"Need a hand with anything?" Veronica asks.
"Yeah, can you get Jax to sign these," she said, handing Veronica a few forms.
She was back in the office in no time.
"You seem anxious," Gemma says.
"Juice is getting back today," she told Gemma.
"I thought he was due back tomorrow?"
"He left me a voicemail," she smiled.
"Veronica!" Clay called.
She nodded to Gem and jogged to Clay.
"What's up?"
"Here's your cash, sorry for being late in getting it to you," he says.
She waves him off, stuffing the envelope in her back pocket.
Veronica and Clay see a truck pull in.
"Guess Juice is back a day early Laroy will be happy," Clay says.
Veronica follows behind Clay as he walks to the truck.
A sweetbutt gets out of the passenger side then she sees Juice.
"Whew. It's good to be--" Juice starts to say but Clay grabs his neck and he winces.
"What the hell is she doing here, huh?"
Veronica looks from Clay to the Sweetbutt then Gemma.
She didn't know what kind of negotiation her and Clay had but she would never tolerate cheating with Juice.
"She told me she was getting out in Bakersfield," Juice says.
The sweetbutt runs up, "Clay, it's not his fault, okay? I know I'm not suppose to be here. Just let me go talk to someone."
Veronica hangs back by Jax waiting for the appropriate time to greet her old man.
"You talk to somebody in another charter, you got that sweetbutt? Get her the hell out of here now," Clay says.
"Let's go," Juice says, grabbing her arm.
Jax approaches them, "what we're you thinking, man?"
"What was I suppose to do, just throw her out of the cab?" Juice says, frustrated.
He pulls her and she rips her arm away looking at Half Sack. Half Sack barely looks at her before he turns and walks inside.
"Get me out of here," the sweetbutt growls.
Veronica watches Juice leave.
Half Sack came out again.
"Gem still in there?" Roni asked Half Sack.
He nodded.
She went into the office and saw Gemma sobbing.
She barely looks up.
Veronica quickly closes the door behind her.
"I realize you probably don't want me in here. I just wanted to say if you wanted to talk about it..I'm here," she says.
Gemma nods then waves her away.
Veronica rests her hand on Gemma's shoulder then leaves.

Veronica sat on the picnic bench in front of the club house and waited for Juice.
He was back and was about to give her a hug when Jax appeared, "we're meeting. Let's go."
"I'll be back, baby," he told her, sounding disappointed.
"Okay," she said.
They hadn't been inside for more than five minutes when a black vehicle pulls into the Teller-Morrow lot. Half Sack runs inside.
"ATF. Where is the owner of Teller-Morrow automotive?" The female ATF agent directs her question at Veronica.
She watches as Clay, Piney, Juice, Bobby, Chibs, Half Sack, Ricky, and Jax walk out of the clubhouse.
"Owner of Teller-Morrow Automotive?" She asked again.
"That's me," Clay says.
"Come on, Clay," officer Hale says putting cuffs on Clay.
"You gonna mention a charge?" Clay asks.
"None yet. I just need to discuss your relationship with a Nate Meineke."
"Who?"
"Nate Meineke. He is one of the men who held up a police transport this morning, killed three people with AK-47s. We found Mr. Meineke's cell phone at the scene. Last call her recieved was from your garage," She said, walking to her car, Clay is guided.
"Preference?" The ATF asked refering to where to sit.
"Lady's choice," Clay replied.
"Oh, tattoos and chivalry. Delicious combination," she said, opening the back seat.
They watch as the car disappears.
Veronica looks at Juice and he at her.
She wouldn't have a chance to greet him until after the figured this shit out.
She sits in the clubhouse to wait and see if Jax needs a hand with anything.
They come out of their meeting and Jax sees Veronica.
"Help Juice, please," he says.
Veronica pulls up another chair by the computer.
"How was Nevada?" She asks as they begin working.
"Nothing special," he tells her, focusing on the computer.
"I missed you," she tells him.
"You too, baby," he says.
"Maybe you'll work better alone?" She asks.
"You might distract me a bit, I hope you understand."
"Of course I do, baby. Be safe," she told him getting up.
She kissed his cheek and went home.

Juice came home late--just after 12am.
He stripped to his boxer and crawled into bed with his old lady, holding her.
"I'm sorry if I didn't give you more attention. That was a lot of shit real fast," he whispered, not expecting her to be awake.
"I know, baby," she said.
"You're awake?" He asked.
"I couldn't sleep."
She faced him.
"It's been five days, kiss me already," she told him.
He chuckled and gave her a long kiss.
She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you, baby cakes," he tells her.
"I love you more," she smiles in the dark.
"I doubt that," he says, kissing her on the forehead.
"Why do you doubt that?" She asks him.
"I love you a whole lot more than you could ever realize," he says.
She pecks his lips, "oh yeah? You think that you realize how much I love you?"
"Okay baby, agree to disagree," he says.
She snuggles into Juice, yawning.
"Goodnight, baby," he says.
