What have I done. Josh thought to himself. I am the ultimate sleeze-bag, he continued to think to himself, and Angel Marie is gonna kill me. Then it was like there were two people on his shoulders, one was dressed in all red, and the other in all white.
"You don't nessacarily have to tell Angel Marie", the red one said in a mischevious tone.
"Yes you do. Angel Marie is not only your twin, she's your best friend. You tell eachother everything and she could help you", the white one said persuasively.
"My friend on your other shoulder is right, you guys are best friends. If you tell her this it may break that bond forever.", the red said with false empathy.
"But, Josh, if you don't tell her and she finds out somewhere else, it will be a double whammy. Her twin cheating by accident and then not telling her. Wow Josh.", the white one said with a tsk.
"But if you tell Angel Marie she might tell one of the girls and that would be baaaaad.", the red one warned him.
"Now you've got a decision to make.", the white one said.
"And we've got cookies to make", said the red one with a sugar obsessed gleam in his eyes. "Come along my angelic friend."
"Too-da-loo!",they called in unison before they joined hands on his right shoulder and dissapeared. Wow, Josh thought, I need a therapist. Just then Angel Marie walked in.
"Hey Josh, what's up?", Angel Marie said casually.
"N-nothing much. W-why do you ask? What did you hear?!?", Josh freaked out.
"Chill bro, nothing.", Angel Marie put her arms in the air as she said this.
"Oh sorry, cool", Josh answered super relieved. Josh had made his decision. He wasn't gonna tell Angel Marie, he couldn't. And she would never find out because he would put an end to it soon. If he could find out who to let go of. To try to figure out who, he went back to earlier that day when it all started:
When Josh arrived at the house that George had given directons to he stopped. He was really nervous. He wasn't there for George he was there for Nani. He rang the door bell and Nani showed up at the door looking suprised and then a bit embarrassed.
"Hey, Josh", Nani seemed struggle to push out.
"Um, hey Nani.", Josh answered nervoulsy.
"You must be here for George, or Nick if your into hanging out with younger kids. Or my mom if your one of types who mows lawns for money. I mean we don't have much of a lawn, but there are a few patches of grass. Or you know those hedges___", Nani babbled,"Sorry".
"Um, it's okay. I'm actually here for you. I wanted to know if I could um, walk you to school?", Josh asked.
"Yes! A thousand times yes!", Nani replied eagerly, "I mean.....that'd be cool.
The two were off to school. They talked about alot of things. Josh was surprised they had so much in common, like they both loved video games. Then Nani's nose started wrinkling like she smelled something terribe. They walked for a while and Nani started to look like there was a dead animal with a bunch of rotten eggs. They walked for a little while and then Graysen walked up to them.
"Oh, hey Josh. I didn't know this was the way you take to school. This is the way I take too.",Graysen said. Josh was shocked, he had never even seen Graysen come this way to school. Then Nani started gagging. Like, she sounded like she was dying.
"So your the new girl? Ninny, is it?", Graysen asked Nani. Then Graysen put her arm around Nani. Nani was gagging to the max now, she was hacking and wheezing too.
"It..*gag*...Nani...*gag*...", she manged to choke out. She sounded like a mama squirrel gave birth in her throat.
"Oh what a nice name! It's so pretty!", Graysen said almost sarcastically. Then she came over to Josh.
"Hey, aren't you in my third period chem?", Graysen asked.
"Yeah, I am." Josh replied. She hadn't even noticed me, he thought to him self, feeling sadness and heart-ache.
"Anyway, so see you guys in chem, I'll be sure to look for you Josh.", Graysen said before she sped up ahead of them.
"Wow, she seems more outgoing than usual.", Josh said.
"Tell me *cough* about it *hack*", Nani said trying to get words out.
"Nani, are you okay?", Josh asked with genuine concern in his voice. He was really worried about her. What did she smell that he couldn't. We're both human, Josh thought.
"Yeah, I'm fine.", Nani said, Josh knew she was lying, but he didn't push any more
"Okay, well. Anyway are you doing anything tomorrow night?", Josh asked. More like Josh blurted. He didn't even mean to say that.
"Not that I know of.", Nani replied.
"Well do you wanna catch a movie?", Josh asked nervously. Well he had to follow through.
"Yeah, sure. That'd be cool.",Nani replied. Josh was so relieved. He felt good, so good he was almost skipping.
When Josh got to third period, chem, he looked over to find Graysen in his seat.
"Hey, Graysen. That's kinda my seat.", Josh said, not clear on,why she was there.
"Oh, is it now?", Graysen asked, with....was that a hint of flirt! What happened to shy little Graysen Smith,"I didn't notice."
"What are you doing later today?", he asked her.
"Well, nothing. What are you doing?"
"Well, If she says yes, I have a hot date named Graysen Smith.", he answered with a little flirt of his own.
"Well, I think she'll say yes."
"So it's a date. Do think she'll be good with 8 o'clock?"
"I think 8 would be perfect." Graysen replied.
"In your assigned seats now, children!", Mr. Tebron yelled as he entered into the room. Crabby old man, Josh thought. Omg, Graysen was so much hotter now she was bold. And for some reason Nani was glaring at Graysen. Oh crap.
Well Josh thought as he finished his flashback. I could just date both, I mean they don't even go near eachother, they'll never find out. What's the worst that could happen?
