Summer Nights

CHAPTER 5

" JAKIE!"  a voice sounded from a little girl srcreamed at  Jake.

" so close"  jake whispered, leaning away from me before we kissed. 

" Anna!? Why are you out here at one a.m.!?" Jake Whisper yelled at Anna, now picking the little one up.

" i... ran away" she said pouting, then relizing i was there sudenly, she looked at me

" who's this Cookie?" she asked looking back at Jake  

"cookie.? " I asked jake 

" Yah, when she was younger, she couldnt say Jake, so she would just call me Cookie" i giggled at that.

" so whho are you?!" Anna said, getting frustrated that no one has noticed her.

"I'm Emma" i said smiling warmly at her glowing, bright face

" Are you Cookies Girlfriend! He never brings girls home! Mummy said that maybe he likes boys! then cookie gets made though.  One time Jakie said that he wou-" Her rambling continuing until Jake covered her mouth with is hand.

" SHHHH ANNA .   i think its way past someone's bedtime. huh? " Jake said, color risisng to his cheeks.  

I giggled, and soon so did Anna, both laughing at the now embarassed Jake

" WELL GOODBYE EMMA!" Jake said, having to yell over our laughter.

" Bye, cookie" I said winking as his cheeks began to color again with embarisment.

 He let go of Anna and let her sneak into the quite house, before he caught her.

" Sweetie.. Dont run away anymore okay? mom was probably really worried about you" 

Jake said to Anna.

" Okay, sorry Jakie" She said, then looking towards me she continued

" it was really nice to meet you, Jake's girly-friend!" she said sweetly

" you too anna!" i smiled back, and with that she scurried of into the house.

" so.." Jake drawed out

" Back to what we were doing, maybe?" He said, nervuosly biting his lip.

"mmm I guess we might as well, huh?" I asked, with a teasing tone.

"yah" he said getting side tracted with something, while leaning down.  

Then we kissed, and not to be to cliche; but he took my breathe away, and in this moment, i honestly could care less that the butterflies in my stomach might escape at any second.  

When I pulled away breathless, the pure bliss on his face made my insides tingle.

" wow" he breathed, our breathes still mixing with the others by our proximity

"Now i dont wanna go" i said, jetting my lower lip out.

" Then don't... i dont want you to leave" he said, biting his lip adorably.

" dont do that, you'll make me stay forever" i said refrencing to him biting his lip.

"Do what?" he asked. still doing the very thing i was refrencing to, but now tilting his head making me fall for those hazel eyes.

I bit my lip in example, and pointed to it.

" well maybe it will work and you'll stay" he said, giving an open smile. goofly.

" it would have, but i really do have curfew" i said, now biting my lip

is eyes drifted to my lips, then back to my eyes

" Screw your cerfew" he said huffing

" mm.. How about we go to the beach tomorrow" i asked him

" Sure! ill pick you up at one, kay?" he said.

"okay sounds great!  ill see you later Jake" I said waving as i started to walk of his front porch.

" wait! " he said, grabing my arm, and twisting me back to him

" dont i get a goodbye kiss?" He said, already leaning into me 

" NO" i yelled right aftter i yanked myself away from him before our lips could touch

" BUT!" He called after me, as i ran to my car 

" Bye jakie" i waved at him, as i got in the car.

and with that, i drove off into the night, and leaving the butterflies roam around my stomach until i fell asleep.
