"I'm sorry.." Charlie's father gulped. "This isn't Charlie, I'm his father. "Oh.... Sorry, but could I talk to Charlie please?" Grace replied kindly.
"I'm afraid that wouldn't be quite possible." Charlie's father actually had sympathy in his voice.
"What do you mean?" Grace was startled by the response.
"Charlie, didn't think life was worth living he told me, so he took his own."
The phone hang up.
Grace grasped for air as she cried, hiccuping wildly.
"Charlie! Where are you when I need you?!"
The reality is, romantic love is a drug, it's addictive, and once you consume it, there's no going back. You're fine on the outside, but it's killing you on the inside.
