I forgive you for never letting me talk even after the silence stretched on and you'd still find a way to interrupt me. I forgive you for stringing me along for so long even after I heard your goodbyes louder than your hellos.
You know, I forgive you for turning off the lights even after I told you I was afraid of the dark.
