My eyes widened when i heard my best friend's voice, kaya naman dali-dali akong tumagilid sa isang tabi. Aww man! This is not the right time to meet this girl right here. I'm not yet ready waaah i screamed inside my head, para ako lang makarinig shempre.

"Whut? Are you serious besh? You're totally ignoring me?" She asked.

I know, she's pouting her lips again. What am I going to do? I asked myself trying to ignore the person beside me. I felt her arm touched mine, so i pulled it lightly. Ignore her or not? I asked again when I feel uncomfortable by her presence.

"Yow Den!" Someone shouted so i decided to look up, to look at that person, and to my dismay she's giving me playful smile, this idiot. "I didn't know. You guys have a date!" She mouthed giving me a wink. Then she smiled sweetly, "Hi Kelsey! Sup? Nice outfit huh?"

"Thanks Stefanie Scott. And you have a pretty outfit too."

"Yeps. So what brought you here?" Asked Stefanie when she take her seat across the table we're seating at. "I didn't know that after... Ahm! That issue, you guys are dating! Hahaha." What the heck is she talking about?

"Actually, im here to apologize. And we are not dating."

"Whut?! Hindi mo pa napapatawad tong unggoy na to Dennise?!"

"Shut the hell up Stefanie Scott!" I said with completely annoyed voice. She gave me a peace sign and sip her soda using a straw.

"Stefanie, i did not understand what you've said, can you translate it for me?"

Stefanie look at me as if asking for my permission and i nod my head. I looked at my sandwich and began eating as i listened to their conversation. Well I'm not that tsismosa or something, i mean hello! It's their fault and their sitting behind and in front of me.

"I asked her why the fvck she still did not forgive you yet. I mean hello! Two weeks had pass."

"That was bad Stefanie. You should have just asked her nicely."

"I asked her nicely?"

"No you did not. You yelled at her." Kelsey says and i can hear the hint of sadness on her voice. Why don't i forgive her anyway? Well for some reasons i want it hard for her. And yuh! It's too immature but you can't blame me. I love my best friend.

"She called you monkey." I said nonchalantly. The girl across the table give me a deadly stare. "See? She's guilty. Look at how she stares at me." I commented as Im trying to make my voice like a 3 years old kid.

"Stefanie?" We heard Kelsey asked with confusion on her voice. She hated how Stefanie called her monkey every time she talked to me in our filipino language. Like it's no fun at all, because Kelsey don't understand our language. And as a friend of Stefie, i would just have go with the flow, and after that smack her at the back of her head for her to stop.

"Okay im sorry. I can't help it. You're so cute kasi." Stefanie reasons and scratch the back of her head.

"But seriously Dennise... Im here to ask for your forgiveness, well i mean, I am really am sorry about ditching the volleyball practice. It's just... I have some..."

I looked at her deadly as she started to keep on cutting her sentences off. "Kelsey Chow. Please make your explanation be more interesting or else, i'll kick your ass out of the varsity team. Even though you are my best friend." I said firmly packing my things neatly inside my back pack.

She sighed deeply and straightened her back like she's in one of her meetings inside the student council's office. "As you can see miss Lazaro, i am the president of the student council. And as a president, i am busy preparing important events this coming halloween ball. You are my best friend and you should know that your best friend have this what we called time conflict..."

I cut her off with my left eye brow creased. "As the captain of the team and as your best friend, i suggest you to quit volleyball and focus on one thing. And what i mean is, you should focus yourself being the president of the student council, because it's more important than volleyball games." I said. She scratched the back of her head that made me shake my head.

"But i want to be with you guys! You are both part of the team and i want to be with you!"

"Kelsey... We don't want to see you stressed out because of your works. Look aren't you tired? You are a student, intelligent and responsible president of the student council, and a varsity player! That sounds really amazing, but we don't want to see you sleeping inside the class, yawning in your freakin meeting and mostly we don't want to get scolded by our coach just because you were not there." Stefanie explained with hand gestures while looking deeply in Kelsey's eyes.

"Forget about the last thing. What she meant is that, yuh! We wanted you to skip practices because you were tired the whole day and week, but we don't want you to be scolded by our fuckin' coach and booed by the whole school because you always ditch practices."

Surely we cared about her. Like who the hell is going to join volleyball when she's part of the student council, to point out that she's the ruler of this school. The president. Plus she also have to study and attend classes like other students do.

"What do you want me to do then?" Kelsey asked looking on her watch. I think she has somewhere to go. After lunches she has meetings in her office. "Am i forgiven now Dennise?" She asked pleading like whatever she does, makes me think twice.

"You are forgiven unless you choose to quit volleyball or to quit volleyball."

"What duh! I don't have a choice in that!" She frown. I shrug and look at Stefanie who's smiling from ear to ear.

"That's what we meant to say. You don't have a choice but to quit volleyball." We and Stefanie said in unison.

Kelsey Chow just pouted her lips like an adorable duck. We know that she knows how to do time management, but then she's still young to over worked herself out. Like us, she needs rest too.

"Fine." She replied with a hint of sadness on her voice.

Poor thing she got over cared best friend on both sides of her shoulders.
