Marlene and James were always best friends and they always would be.
Every time their groups would hang out and Marlene would get to tired to walk towards the end, she would always jump on James' back and demand him to give her a piggyback ride.
That had started when they were 8 years old and they could still be seen running through the streets at 18 like that.
Sirius would always get jealous when they did that thinking 'Hey that's my girlfriend!!'
So whenever they did that, Sirius would crouch down and Lily would climb up onto his shoulders.
And this is what happened every time...
"Woooo" Sirius screamed running through the streets of Hogsmeade. Lily laughed and clutched on tighter to Sirius, to make sure she wouldn't fall off.
Marlene would just roll her eyes and and tell James to "Giddy up, horsie!"
Then Sirius would yell for all to here,
"We are the better best friend couple, right Lilykins?"
She would laugh and say, "Hell yes, Siribear!" And they would high five so loudly that people in the Castle could here it.
"Every time. " Marlene whispered to James. "Every damn time!"
