Jynx's POV

School was boring and dumb, as usual. I'm not too good at smart stuff, but most people can expect that from me.

After all, does anyone really think that punks are smart?

After my last class finished, which was unfortunately math, I knew I had to quickly find Emily. She'd probably be waiting for me by her locker, or maybe she'd ditch me. I don't really care what she does, but I keep my promises.

I scurried to my locker so fast that none of my friends caught up with me to say bye for the evening. I found my locker, #686, and opened it. My black and white backpack was sitting there with my extra books. I ripped my backpack out and shoved my binder and textbooks inside. I had some homework tonight, so I brought everything I might need. Textbooks, notebooks, extra pencils and markers, notecards, and my planner.

When I finished packing my stuff, I zipped up my backpack and tossed one arm strap over my shoulder. I slammed my locker shut and went running to Emily's locker. It was a few halls down, but I made it in time before she left. She was still packing her backpack and did it rather slowly.

"Oh, there you are, Jynx."

She didn't seem to care much, but I can understand why she's not too excited about making out with me all evening. I mean, if I was a hot guy she'd be all over me, but I'm a hot girl. I guess that's how sensitive straight people are...

"Wow, nice to see you too."

She glared over at me, and I raised my hand dismissively, letting her get back to packing. When she finished, she closed her locker and tossed her backpack over her shoulders. Then, she sighed and crossed her arms.

"You're gonna have to drive me."

"To your place?"

We started walking out of the school. Some people looked at us, but it wasn't too bad. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to turn her gay. I lied to her this morning. I've never turned anyone gay. I've only been in one other serious relationship, and the girl ended up never loving me. Sucks, I know...

"Yeah sure, but my mom comes home two hours after school, so..."

I nodded and motioned for Emily to follow me. We speed-walked out of the school and to the parking lot. It was mostly filled because of the juniors and seniors.

My car was a cheap Ford. It was red, but it looked kind of brown because it was so old. I kept it clean, though. I know how extreme my parents would be if they found out I trashed the car. They would definitely not be happy.

When we got close to the car, I took my keys out from my left pocket. My phone was in my right pocket. I unlocked the car and opened the driver's door, jumping in gleefully. After throwing my backpack to the back seat, I closed the door and turned the car on. Emily walked around and basically did the same but on the other side. She didn't seem too impressed by the general appearance of the car, but that's okay.

"Yeah, I know my car sucks, but at least it's clean!"

Emily didn't seem impressed at all, but I can't blame her. Her family is probably rich or something. It's common in this city to see rich people. They're attracted to the "greatness". What that means is that it's a generally great city.

We drove out of the parking lot and onto the road. She started telling me directions. 'Turn after a while' and 'go left after this tree'. What a silly little sophomore. I can't believe I get to make out with her! AH!

Halfway through, she smiled over at me and chuckled.

"Hey, just wondering, who invited you to the party on Friday?"

That question was quite an interesting one. Honestly, I had to do some pretty intense stuff to get Kira to invite me. Favors, errands, gossip. Mostly favors... But I couldn't say that to Emily. She seems like such a fragile hetero nerd. I couldn't possibly ruin her innocence.

"Kira. We're good friends."

Emily chuckled again and could tell I was lying. I wasn't going to tell her anything though. I promised Kira I wouldn't. Maybe when I trust her more.

We eventually got to her house. It wasn't exactly as big as I imagined it to be, but it was surely bigger than mine! It was a nice, light blue, and the accents were a bright wood color (which included the door and roof). It looked really nice! The lawn was freshly mowed, and there were even flowers rowed up in the front of the house.

I parked in the driveway and turned off the car.

"Alright, ready to make out?"

"Not so fast! I have to do some homework beforehand, okay?"

I rolled my eyes dramatically and got out of the car. I opened the door to the backseat and got out our backpacks. Her's was heavier than mine, but only by like two textbooks.

"Yo, straight girl."

She got out of the car just in time to catch her backpack when I threw it at her. She gave me a stern look and started walking up to her front door. It didn't look like anyone was home, which is good. I suppose I'd be pissed too if I found my sophomore nerd daughter kissing a punk in the grade above.

I followed her up to the front door and fixed my tank top. Yeah, I wore black tank tops most of the time. Teachers gave up on dress-coding me. It's not like I 'arouse' anyone anyways...

Yeah, what most people don't know is that I'm not actually a slut. Sure, I've kissed some girls, but I'd be lying if I said I never had feelings for the girls I've kissed. That's the difference between a slut and someone who doesn't like commitment. I had feelings for the girls I've kissed. Can't say the same for Emily yet, but she is hot. That whole nerd thing is actually really awesome.

"Come on in!"

She unlocked the door and swung it open. The inside of her house looked amazing. I can't wait to make out with her!
